12 Signs You Are So Over This Semester

What's messier, your life or your room?

1. You have your end of term 8 page research paper that's worth 20% of your grade due in a few days and you haven't even come close to starting it. So naturally, you're binge watching Netflix instead. You're so close to finishing Gossip Girl (for the third time) so that's going to have to take priority for now.

2. You've been wearing the same makeup for the past three days. I mean, what's the point of taking it off if you're just going to put it back on in a few hours? All the time it takes to put on your makeup could be used for better things, like sleeping.

3. You're only doing your laundry because you ran out of underwear but only managed to get through half of it. The walk from your room to the washing machine is just too much for you right now.

4. You're not particularly sure when your final exams are and you definitely have not started studying for them yet. When someone asks you if you're ready for finals this is probably your reaction:

5. “Are you going to chapter tonight?"
“Yeah I think so. Wait, does Attendance Bad Standing carry over to next semester?"
“No, I don't think so."
“Then no I am not going to chapter."

6. You go to the library and this ends up happening:

7. You haven't gone grocery shopping in so long and you have no food in your house so you've been living on peanut butter and Chipotle.

8. You have a to-do list from last month that has yet to be completed (specifically: “clean your room").

9. You're starting to think that this wouldn't be such a bad idea:

10. You've been ignoring your responsibilities for so long that you have started rewarding yourself for the things you should have been doing anyway (read: not skipping class).

11. You've calculated the lowest possible grades you could get on your finals that wouldn't destroy your GPA.

12. You're so over this semester that you're pretty much apathetic about finals and you're a little concerned about it, but not concerned enough to actually care.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).

No matter how long your class is, there's always time for the mind to wander. Much like taking a shower or trying to fall asleep, sitting in a classroom can be a time when you get some of your best ideas. But, more than likely, you're probably just trying to mentally cope with listening to a boring lecturer drone on and on. Perhaps some of the following Aristotle-esque thoughts have popped into your head during class.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.
