12 Signs You're Having Withdrawals From Your Best Friends

Towards the end of finals, you have a bit of mix feelings between going home and leaving school for summer. You are so ready for school to be over and to enjoy that sweet summertime break. But at the same time you are having anxiety about not being with your best friends every second of everyday. You now realize that you're having withdrawals from being with your best friends.

1. You seem to stalk their social media more frequently than you want to admit

2. You see their posts of them with their high school friends and suddenly feel overprotective

3. Most of your thoughts are spent wondering where they are, what they're doing, and who they're with.

4. Your once speedy gonzalas texter is now slacking and you suddenly have constant battles in your mind about whether to double text, or triple.

5. You made a countdown timer for when you will be reunited again and possibly check it daily, or hourly...

6. You start planning out all the fun activities you will do together once you're reunited and you get creepily happy and excited (as you're sitting by yourself)

7. You've mapped out every possible way to see them as many times as you can while spending the least amount of money (still on that college budget)

8. You find yourself acting like a broken up teenager looking through all your photos taken together over the year(s) and feeling sappy

9. You've never been into the whole #tbt thing, but lately you've done #mcm, #wcw, and even made up your own just to post a picture of you and your besties #friendsfriday?

10. Phone calls are essential and you feel compelled when even the most random things happen to call or FaceTime them and share the news

11. You never give a second thought when you comment on every Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter post they put up

12. And more often times than not you send them sappy texts about how much you miss them

Regardless of where you are or where they are you will always know that you have an inseparable bond. Through the ups and downs and time apart the feeling is mutual that nothing can bring you apart!

When I was learning how to talk, I was taught both Portuguese and English at the same time. In elementary school, I started taking mandatory Spanish classes, which I did well in because of my knowledge of Portuguese. Then in high school, on top of taking Spanish, I also started taking French. Now, in college, already fluent in English and Portuguese, I'm in the process of becoming fluent in Spanish, and I have a standard high school level understanding of French.

I am without a doubt one of those people who refuses to start decorating for Christmas or listen to Christmas music until after Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, Thanksgiving has become an underrated holiday over the years. You barely see any Thanksgiving decorations in stores; it's like they skip right from Halloween to Christmas.
