Do you remember middle school? It was awful: we were all angry, we were mostly a mess. We were also called "emo" and our parents hated it - so woops! I don't actually think I ever left this part of my life, and I have a lot of friends who seem to feel the same way. So here are the 12 signs you're still in middle school.

1. Band t-shirts. Band t-shirts everywhere.

2. You got your first (and possibly only) tattoo young.

Maybe it's bad, and maybe it's not. Who knows?

3. You wear all black - always. No exceptions.

4. You're an eyeliner pro. Or, you try.

5. Most of your IG photos have a filter.

I know what you're thinking, we all use the filters. But if you remember your MySpace photos this will make sense

6. You can still play "Welcome to the Black Parade" on the piano.

7. You have a Tumblr account.

8. Chances are your hair is a funny color.

9. You have a facial piercing.

10. Fall Out Boy, Panic!, and Twenty One Pilots play on repeat in your car.

11. You wear dark lipstick regularly.

12. You're dead inside.
