12 Oh Sh*t Moments All College Students Know

If you're only human, and if you're also a college student, you've probably had plenty of oh shit moments that make you want to throw your $200 books that you never opened out the window. If any of these have happened to you, well.. sorry dude.

1. You slept through your alarm and the really important lecture you were supposed to go to is halfway over.

2. You have six e-mails from your professor asking for that one assignment from three weeks ago that you keep forgetting about about.

3. You were studying (or doing a different recreational activity...), you look at the clock, and it's 10:30 and all the dining halls are closed, and now its microwaved ramen for dinner.

4. "Is this my classroom? This is definitely not my classroom. Sh*t."

5. When you're super confident on an assignment and it get's graded and it turns out you're not hot sh*t in your one good subject anymore.

6. When all you want is really good pizza but there's $2 in your checking account because you needed Chinese last week.

7. "Please tell me that exam wasn't today... oh god."

8. When you made/received a lot of money over Christmas vacation and you think you're rich until you see the bill for your books second semester.

9. When you realize every. single. one. of your classes. is reading. intensive. WHY DID YOU DO THIS?!

10. "How are your classes going? Are you getting good grades? Are you studying?" *breathes heavily*

11. When your laptop dies in the first fifteen minutes of your two hour lecture and you legit don't have a piece of paper OR a pen.

12. You go to do your laundry that really needs to be done and you have no laundry funds left.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
