Chipotle

As you probably know if you are reading this article, LaGrange, Georgia is a small town and if you have lived here for at least three years you have literally tried every restaurant LaGrange has to offer. Here is a list of restaurants that would make LaGrange a better place in everyone's eyes and some that are open on Sunday, cause Lord knows if you're trying to eat after church half of our limited supply is closed. This would help solve that constant argument with your significant other of "What do you want for dinner?" Everyone would be happy with these around.

1. Chipotle

Chipotle makes life a better place, nuff said. It's a casual, yet classy mexican restaurant with fresh food and guacamole that will change your life.

2. Olive Garden

LaGrange needs more Italian restaurants! Don't get me wrong, Pizza Villa, Venuicci's and Milanos are fantastic but who doesn't love Olive Garden? You just simply cannot pass up endless breadsticks and salad.

3. Another Starbucks

LaGrange needs a Starbucks on the square. Can I get an Amen? The people on the other side of LaGrange need some Starbucks love too. It's just way too much of a commitment to drive all the way to the interstate to get some coffee before work if you live/work the opposite way.

4. Cheddars

I genuinely feel like this would thrive in LaGrange. Cheddars is the perfect post-church meal with a huge variety of food with affordable prices. Plus their ranch is bomb.

5. Krispy Kreme

You know that feeling when the "hot sign" is on? That feeling when you're not even hungry but you see it and your blinker automatically turns on and next thing you know you have a dozen doughnuts. Yeah, that is one of the best feelings ever. LaGrange needs a Krispy Kreme, nuff said.

6. Sonic

Who doesn't love being able to drive through or sit outside and enjoy burgers, milkshakes, slushies and hot dogs? People will literally drive to Alabama to get them some Sonic. It's the perfect summer hangout as well.

7. Firehouse Subs

Yes Subway is cool and Momma G's is great, but I will literally make a road trip to Newnan just to get some Firehouse Subs. Their sandwiches are just fantastic. #HookAndLadder

8. Hibachi Restaurant

Yama and Jin is pretty cool, but I'm talking about legit Hibachi where you get dressed up and go there on your birthday and they cook in front of you. I can list off some options... Tokyo, Ninja they're both fantastic!

9. Taco Mac

Rest in Peace Idle Hour Pub, your memory will live forever. The fact that the towns only bar consists of Brickhouse now is kind of sad. Taco Mac has a huge variety of beer and amazing food. #WinWIn

10. Steak 'N Shake

Steak 'N Shake is a 24-hour blessing. If you're hungry after two a.m. you have about three choices, and not everyone wants Krystal's (even though their corndogs are pretty great). Steak 'N Shake would be a total hit for high schoolers, college students and literally everyone. It would even bring in business from the neighboring counties because who doesn't love a good milkshake?

11. FROYO

Don't get me wrong, the Medicine Cabinet ice cream will forever be bae, but who doesn't love a good frozen yogurt? It's the perfect hangout, date spot and just an awesome, yet healthy treat.

12. Panera Bread

Panera is a classy, casual, delicious restaurant where you can enjoy a bread bowl of soup and do your homework. Since we are currently forced to drive over 45 minutes away to quench our Panera cravings, and people literally do it, Panera would be a total success.

Can I get an Amen?

Sorority

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
