Graduation...For most of us college seniors, this word will be looming over our heads for the next five months. Graduation means becoming real people with real jobs, leaving our closest friends and only getting drunk on the weekends.
The good news is, there are some things to look forward to. I asked a bunch of recent grads about life after college, and the feedback I got was surprisingly positive. I've combined their answers into the list below:
1. "You will have less free time during the week than you did in college, but for most people weekends will be totally free. You won't have to worry about finishing your paper on Sunday night, or meeting for group projects" - Colgate University Grad
2. "You will no longer have to deal with stupid girl drama." - Colgate University grad
3. "You'll be working hard every day at something that actually matters/changes lives" - Elon University Grad
4. "You will find yourself surprisingly refreshed when starting a whole new chapter of your life. It's exciting" - University of Maryland grad
5. "Bars, bars, and more bars." - Elon University grad
6. "You might get the chance to reunite with and or live with friends from high school" - JMU grad
7. "I know it seems like more responsibility will be a bad thing, but you'll find it gives you a great sense of independence." - Columbia grad
8. "You'll probably meet someone new almost every time you go out" - Colby College grad
9. "If you live in a city there's always something to do, you'll never be bored" - Keene State grad
10. "Making that moneyyyy" - Clemson University grad
11. "More dating options ;)" - Elon University
12. "You'll probably find that having a more structured schedule makes you more productive and more fulfilled" - UConn grad
There ya have it guys. Try to keep these in mind when you're freaking out because your life currently has no path.
