12 Reasons Why We All Love Britney Spears

It's been over 18 years since Britney Spears first dropped "...Baby One More Time" and we can honestly say none of us have been the same since. In honor of the Princess of Pop making her amazing comeback and Vegas Tour, I'd like to list the 11 reasons why we will always love our girl Britney.

1. You Still Jam to "...Baby One More Time" Like It Came Out Yesterday

I mean, who can blame you? With the classic pop beat, unforgettable lyrics, and iconic music video, it's no wonder why you can't sit still when this throwback song comes on the radio.

2. Her Incredible Fashion Sense

Long live the 2000s, where crimped hair, crop tops, and completely denim outfits ruled all.

3. She Danced With a Snake...

Who could forget Britney's 2001 MTV Video Music Awards performance of "Slave 4 U" when she literally danced with a Python on her shoulders.

4. She Sang a Duet With Madonna

"Me Against the Music" was the work of a magical duo we won't soon forget.

5. You Can Listen to Her Music Anytime

Throwing a party? Put on some Britney. Working out? Put on some Britney. Washing your dog? Put on some Britney.

6. She is Literally a Pop Icon

With over 40 hit singles and eight amazing albums, Britney redefined pop music with her style, dancing, and unique vocals.

7. You Could Be Her Every Year for Halloween and Never Run Out of Costumes

Whether your a Catholic school girl, a limo driver in disguise, or wearing a red jump suit in outer space -- the outfit choices are endless.

8. Have You Seen Her Lately?

Britney is currently 34 years old and looking amazing as ever.

9. She's an Incredible Mom

Most stars love to post pictures of their accomplishments, partying, and travels, but not Britney. Check out her Instagram and you'll find a whole bunch of pictures of her and her incredibly cute boys!

10. One Word: Comeback

Let's face it: We all are familiar with Britney's 2007 meltdown, but honestly who else wouldn't melt under that kind of pressure? After taking a few years to help herself and recover, Britney is back on top with her 2016 Vegas tour.

11. Her Lyrics Speak to the 17-Year-Old Girl in All of Us

If anyone knew how to make you feel like your adolescent boy drama was completely normal, it was Britney.

12. Case in Point: 2016 Billboard Music Awards

Britney proved to everyone that comebacks are real and this one is going to be incredible. If you haven't seen this phenomenal mashup of her top hits, don't worry I posted a link. Do me a favor, try not to scream the whole time like I did.

The Princess of Pop has once again proved to us why she is royalty. As if we ever even doubted her. Rock on Brit, we love you.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
