New York City certainly does have many positive things about it, there are also a great deal of negative things about it. New York City is often overly romanticized (especially by people who don't live here) for its historic landmarks, variety of jobs and opportunities, and distinct lifestyle, but here are a few things that make this city the absolute worst:
1. It smells bad.
2. Like...literally so bad.
3. I swear this city is secretly a sewer.
4. Central Park is really just a lame excuse for city's lack of nature and overpopulation.
5. The summers are brutal and you're pretty much screwed unless you leave or stay inside.
6. The winters are equally as brutal and you'll probably alternate between shivering and crying.
7. You most likely can't afford anything because this city is too damn expensive.
8. Once you start living here, you're unfazed by everything. A naked man taking a dump on the street is a normal, everyday occurrence.
9. Let's just say, for the most part, New York isn't the home of the most friendly, down-to-earth people...
10. Good luck trying to drive anywhere.
11. Enjoy being screwed over by the subway system on the daily.
12. Have I mentioned that New York City is just garbage central?
