12 Reasons To Love Carrie Underwood

I have been a Carrie Underwood fan for as long as I can remember. I have every album and know most of her songs by heart. I am fortunate to have recently gone to her concert in Duluth, Georgia, and it was wonderful. Impressive as it was, there is much more to Carrie Underwood than her voice. It may have been what got her noticed, and even made her famous, but her sweet personality and faith shines through everything she says and does. Here are twelve reasons everyone should love Carrie Underwood.

1. Her voice is amazing (obviously).

Carrie Underwood's voice is undeniably beautiful. There is no other like it, and it's no wonder Simon, Paula and Randy thought that same thing at her American Idol audition in the summer of 2004.

2. Her faith is the biggest part of her life.

She may be a multimillionaire and an international sensation, but her singing career, marriage and daily life is rooted in Christ and that is evident in what she says and does. She is not afraid to stand up for what she believes in, and she expresses her beliefs through songs such as "Jesus, Take the Wheel," "Temporary Home," and "Something in the Water."

3. She is a major advocate for healthy living.

She has her own fitness line, CALIA by Carrie Underwood, eats healthy and exercises regularly (check out her leg workout here).

4. Let's be honest, she and her husband are #relationshipgoals.

5. Her whole family is actually perfect.

She and her husband have a great marriage, because it is centered on Christ. Plus, have you seen how cute her son Isaiah is?

6. She is proof that if you work hard enough and you believe in yourself, anything is possible.

As a 21-year-old girl from Checotah, Oklahoma auditioning for American Idol, I'm sure she never dreamed it would lead to this much fame and recognition. She worked hard to win, and her life portrays the hard worker she still is today.

7. She is an animal lover.

8. She is completely supportive of her husband and his hockey team, the Nashville Predators.

She has been seen decked out in all Predators gear and is usually in the stands at her husband's games to cheer him on.

9. She has a good sense of humor.

She has an easygoing and fun-loving personality, and she is able to laugh at herself when she makes mistakes.

10. She takes every opportunity possible to give back.

She is involved with Habitat for Humanity, St. Jude, and her own Checotah Animal, Town, and School (CATS) Foundation, which is a fund that helps her hometown.

11. She can rock overalls.

And she clearly has a rebellious side.

12. She has several words of wisdom.

"Every day is a new day, and you'll never be able to find happiness if you don't move on."

"Throw caution to the wind and just do it."

"Getting revenge on a guy is just not worth it to me. I mean, it definitely sucks at the time, but obviously you're not supposed to be with that person."

She's Carrie Underwood. Is there anything else to say?

Bob's Burgers

College is a time of gaining independence, exploring new things, and copious amounts of Netflix. If you're like me, you often find yourself laughing at the sheer ridiculousness of the situations you find yourself in. Here are ten times Bob's Burgers accurately captured college life.

1. What you're pretty sure your upstairs neighbors do at 3am every morning.

Theater Kids

Throughout school, the theater department has always been my go-to place with go-to people when I need advice, a dance party, or just someone to listen to me vent.

You never know what's going to happen when you're dealing with theatre or what kind of characters you'll encounter. We have too much fun doing anything! One time in my senior year acting class, we spent an entire class period watching Bob's Burgers, and it was the greatest class period ever.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.
