It's been two years since HGTV introduced viewers to Chip and Joanna Gaines, along with their four cute kiddos. The couple from Waco, TX had us viewers immediately drooling over the beautiful homes they are able to create for families willing to take on a Fixer Upper. But along the way, as we welcomed the show into our own homes over the past two years, the loving Gaines Family has also welcomed us into their home. By opening up their family and lifestyle to their viewers, the Gaines Family has captured the hearts of America. Here are 12 reasons why Fixer Upper fans can't get enough of the show:

1. They can make any home go from just plain shabby to vintage shabby-chic!

2. Chip on Demo Day

Seeing this guy go crazy on Demo Day is a crack up! He can't be controlled. "Something about tearing down walls and breaking things with a sledgehammer is just good for the soul." (Click here for the famous #DemoDay shirt!)

3. There isn't one episode where you can't feel the love between these two.

4. They are constantly messing with one another.

OK

we all know it's really Chip who is the one messing with Joanna...

5. They are such great parents to their adorable four: Drake, Ella, Duke, and Emmie

From the short moments we see the Gaines Family together, you can tell that Chip and Joanna are raising their kids right. They are constantly teaching them what the important values are in life, with the value of a united, loving family at the core. It's no question how these four cuties are growing up to be sweet, respectful children: They are learning by example of their standup parents.

6. Chip is probably the biggest goofball on TV.

7. If their kids weren't cute enough, let's not forget their farm family.

8. Magnolia Market is the embodiment of all your dream home accessories.

Not only do Chip and Joanna provide you with beautiful examples of homes, they supply the goods! Magnolia Market is a definite MUST for your Bookmarks and "Dream Home" Pinterest boards!

9. The Bloopers

Arguably the best part of the show. Of course I love their designs and seeing their visions to come to life! Plus, these two are so personable during the show, it's already a treat watching them. But the bloopers are an added treat! These two are the best. I could watch their bloopers all day.

10. Joanna has an eye for style (both for interior design and clothing!)

She designs the most gorgeous homes and looks gorgeous while doing it! She is my inspiration.

11. SHIPLAP!

We love it ... You know it's making an appearance at some point during the episode ... and for some, it's making quite the drinking game!

12. They've captured the hearts of HGTV lovers everywhere.

With their loving relationship, endearing family, and true talent that is making many ready to call Waco their new home, we truly cannot get enough of these two and their family. They may take on Fixer Uppers, but this family is anything but!

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Daydreaming

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.
