I remember the day that I learned the reason behind the name for Breakfast, you are literally breaking a fast because you didn't eat all night. I thought it was the neatest thing and it made me fall even more in love with my favorite meal of the day. But that's just one of the many reasons I dig it, here's a few more:

1. Eggs

I just really like eggs. They are the perfect centerpiece to any breakfast dish. Sunny side up, scrambled, quiche, casserole–the list goes on forever.

2. Breakfast Meats

I'm pretty sure bacon is America's favorite meat (and with good reason), but seriously I've never met a breakfast meat I didn't like.

3. Potatoes

Okay, this is more of a general one but breakfast potatoes rock my world. Hash browns, tater tots, home fries, pan-fried. Ugh.

4. Dessert For Breakfast

Have a sweet tooth at 9 AM? Breakfast has got your back. Pancakes, waffles, french toast, muffins, danishes, crepes, donuts–I mean seriously this is what dreams are made of.

5. All Day Every Day

The world is finally starting to catch on: You can (and should) eat breakfast food at any and all points of the day.

6. Variety

From Cheerio's to croissants and everything in between. Breakfast foods fit everyone's taste.

7. Best Way To Start Your Day

While I said, breakfast foods can be eaten at any point in your day, there is just something about waking up to the smell of bacon or Mom's famous french toast. It sets you up to have a glorious rest of your day.

8. Casseroles

Casseroles are the best of all worlds. They literally combine all of the best parts of breakfast, what more could you want?

9. Cereal

Ahhhhhh cereal, the breakfast that makes every adult feel like a kid on Saturday morning. Such a reliably delicious choice.

10. Cinnamon Rolls

I know I could have put this under the sweet tooth category, but it deserves to stand alone as one of the best breakfast foods out there. It's sugary, cinnamonny, deliciousness shouldn't be compared to anything else.

11. Coffee

Coffee is the shining beacon of breakfast. It is the sweet, sweet nectar that holds us together and somehow pairs perfectly with any and all breakfast foods.

12. Fast Food Breakfast

Now don't shoot me, I understand the value of a nice home cooked breakfast filled with love. But sometimes you just need a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit from Mickey D's.

Gosh–now all I want is breakfast.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
