Below are 15 posts taken from the Facebook of Bernie Sanders that show who Bernie really is his character, his views, his goals, his aspirations, etc. What has Bernie been doing since (and before) Hilary Clinton won the Democratic nomination?
1. Everyone has the right to free college.
Sounds great, right? The points that Bernie make in the defense of free education aren't as radical as you would think.
2. Rising above the hatred and promoting equality and acceptance.
This is a huge quality that Bernie possesses and is perhaps the greatest standing point he has. We should welcome the differences of others.
3. Bringing attention to what needs to be focused on.
Whether global warming is real or not, why wouldn't we do what we can to ensure our environment lasts? There are many aspects of our society that have priority over our environment, but we need to address our environment before it's too late.
4. It's not about winning for Bernie, it's about making a difference.
Even though Bernie lost to Hilary, the movement and the impact he makes is what matters. He's not in it just to be president, he's in it to make a difference.
5. He's not in it for the spotlight.
Unlike some of the presidential candidates... you can really tell that Bernie isn't in it for the numbers. He's in it for the positive impact he can make -- he cares about the people.
6. He's not about an election --- he's about a revolution.
Even after Hilary won the nomination, Bernie made a point to state that his efforts are not going unseen --- the revolution that Bernie is working towards is still in the books.
7. He doesn't give up.
8. We are in this together.
It's not I, it's we.
9. Why can't we afford benefits for those in need?
If you make your money, you have every right to enjoy it. But why can't you enjoy it and help others live a sustainable life?
10. Single moms are the real heroes.
Do I even need to explain further?
11. War as a last resort.
There are many to jump to war in the time of need, but war should be a last resort.
12. A united front.
Together we stand, together we fall. Racism, hatred, and bigotry will not be a foundation that we build upon.
Above are a few points retrieved from Bernie's Facebook that reflect who Bernie is as an individual, a politician, and a member of society. No matter what Bernie has been thrown into -- a rigged election, etc. -- he doesn't give up on the betterment of the nation and of the world. What Bernie stands for isn't a term in office... it's a revolution.
