Guys, we need to step up our game. Not just with women but also with everyone we interact with. What we do changes others, and affects future generations. Men I ask you to try to live by these points I was taught at a young age. These points are the 12 Points Of Scouting, and they are for everyone -- not just us scouts...

1. Trustworthy

Something we lack as a society as a whole. Being trustworthy is not just with a secret. It is with our actions. Are you always late for work? Do you call out? Are you able to help someone out when needed? This is a quality to keep your wife, and show your children what it means to be a better man. Guys it pays off to be trustworthy.

2. Loyalty

Loyalty goes hand in hand with trustworthy. Why have loyal with trustworthy? Loyal is "giving or showing, and constant support or allegiance to person or institution." Being loyal means supporting your wife, fiance, boy or girlfriend in what they do. This means work, activities and even events like their dance recitals (I was the boyfriend who hated attending dance recitals).

3. Helpful

From taking out the trash when not told to picking up books that fell out of someones arms -- being helpful shows your character when the time comes. Can you be counted on? Are you able to solve a problem someone has?

4. Friendly

Friendly does not have to be the action, but the body language. Studies have found humans communicate more with body language than with words. My experience in retail has made me able to see a person who is very sassy or rude from how they stand and their expressions. Be friendly! Have a smile on your face because this will make you approachable to people, ladies, and even kids.

5. Courteous

Being courteous is one quality I think is important especially when it come to my sisters boyfriends. Holding the door open for a lady, saying please and thank you -- it's all basic mannerism. This is how we as men should treat ladies but also their friends, family and their fathers.

6. Kind

Being kind is not just being a good friend -- it is a choice to be approachable. Do you have an ear and time to spare? Actions speak a thousand words.

7. Obedient

This is not just taking orders like a dog but doing what you are asked. Being obedient means you understand authority, when someone asks you something like your mom asking you to clean your room. Doing what you are told in a timely manner is a great work ethic that is hard to master, but in the end it will help you in the long run from home to work.

8. Cheerful

No one likes a debbie downer. Being negative not only just affects you but it affects others others as well. Staying positive or having a cheerful attitude is good for you but also your health.

9. Thrifty

No, we are not thrift shopping. Being thrifty means you understand money and can manage it. Basically you understand that buying the new Xbox is not necessary for your income. Balancing your money, checkbook, and spending is a lost skill. If you can manage this skill you will be better off.

10. Brave

You don't have to run into a burning building to be brave. Being brave is also standing up for what you believe in, and speaking up when people are scared. Standing up for who you are, your faith, and belief as a man shows being brave. Being brave is being confident.

11. Clean

This is not just taking a shower or brushing your teeth everyday (I hope you are). Being clean is also in speech and actions. Are you always cursing, and talking dirty to people? Having a clean tongue will make you a better person from getting that job or even a yes to a date with a cute girl.

12. Reverent

The definition of reverent is feeling or showing deep and solemn respect, and not just having a religion and following it. Being reverent is respecting her family, what they believe and most important asking her father for permission to marry his daughter. If I had a daughter, I would want that. I want to know that the man she is with respects me as well as her and her beliefs.

Men lets try to be better. We should all act better and not like jerks. Lets not cheat or lie. Ladies, even these 12 points from scouting can also impact your life for the better as well.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
