There are probably over a million sights across the world that are probably worth seeing, but there are only a few recently discovered tourist hotspots that are not only a sight, but an experience! Scattered from China to the Bahamas, here's a list of natural phenomena you don't want to miss out on!

1. Pig Island - Bahamas

Feed and swim with these friendly pigs in the clear waters of the Bahamas!

2. Salar de Uyuni - Bolivia

One of the most extensive salt flats in the world, Salar de Uyuni mirrors the expansive sky above it.

3. Palawan Island

An Island off the coast of The Philippines, Palawan Island hosts one of the most beautiful scenes in the area.

4. Keukenhof Park - The Netherlands

Known as the Garden of Europe, Keukenhof Park houses around seven million tulip bulbs over a span of 79 acres.

5. The Great Barrier Reef - Australia


The largest known coral reef system on the planet, 5he Great Barrier Reef houses over 900 different species of animals, from tortoises to birds.

6. Lavender Fields - France

One of the must-sees of France, the lavender here is the source for multiple scents and soaps, not to mention a great view!

7. Valle de Cocora - Colombia

With palm trees that have been growing for lifetimes, the mountain range and the huge expanse of land is a sight to see.

8. Zhangye Danxia Landform Geological Park - China

Voted as one of the most beautiful landforms in China, the park is a sight to behold.

A giant submarine sinkhole off the coast of Belize, and is one of the top 10 scuba diving destinations in the world.

One of the wonders that will soon be affected by climate change, the Ice Caves in Alaska span about 13.6 miles long.
