12 Must Watch Christmas Movies

From the feel good favorites to the romantic comedies to the old classics, be sure to check out these 12 Christmas movies when you're binge watching this year.

1. "Elf"

It's impossible to get into the Christmas spirit without Buddy the Elf and SAAAANNNNTTTAAA! Buddy's Christmas spirit is nothing short of contagious and could cure even the grumpiest Scrooge there is.

2. "A Christmas Story"

Follow Ralphie on his journey to the perfect Christmas through the bully and all the obstacles to his very own "Red Ryder Air Rifle"!

3. "The Santa Clause"

This fan favorite is followed by two sequels, "The Santa Clause 2" and "The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause", so the trilogy is bound to fill a Christmas movie day on its own.

4. "The Polar Express"

The Polar Express book and movie are traditions throughout many households across the world and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

5. "How The Grinch Stole Christmas"

The Grinch is a staple holiday character. Whether you were afraid of him as a child or not, you should not go through a Christmas season without this film.

6. "It's A Wonderful Life"

A feel good family friendly classic about making holiday wishes come true.

7. "Christmas Cupid"

The perfect choice for girl's night in, Christmas edition. Starring Christina Milan, "Pretty Little Liars" star Ashley Benson, and the one and only, ever so handsome, Chad Michael Murray. Follow Sloane Spencer on her visits with the ghosts of boyfriends past to try and find true love. (ABC Family Original)

8. "Home Alone"

Around since 1990, Home Alone has always been a popular favorite, in the Christmas season and all year round. Watch alongside Kevin as he goes to extremes to protect his home from a pair of burglars when he is accidentally left home alone over the holidays.

9. "Holiday In Handcuffs"

At the top of the list for best ABC Family Christmas movies and ABC Family originals overall, this Christmas comedy is a must. Trudie is fed up with the pressure from her parents to have the job of their choice, lifestyle of their choice, and even boyfriend of her choice. Watch to find out what extremes she will go to to bring home a man for the holidays.

10. "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation"

Get together with the family for a couple hours full of laughs to fill you with holiday cheer. Afterwards you can joke about how crazy life would be with a family like the Lampoon's and share your wackiest Christmas memories.

11. "Miracle On 34th Street"

This movie is a must for those who still have their kid in them and those who live for believing in the Christmas spirit.

12. "White Christmas"

Follow the male singing duo of Bob and Phil paired with female singing duo of Betty and Judy on their musical adventure to save a failing Vermont inn.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
