Whether it be by myself, with my family, friends or boyfriend, watching movies are one of my favorite ways to spend some of my free time. I am also one to get way too emotionally invested in movies and television shows, but I love it. And there are a whole bunch of great movies coming out in 2017 too! So, if you’re like me and love movies, check out this list of new and upcoming movies to see with your friends and family this year!

1. Beauty and the Beast

Don't miss Emma Watson as Belle, telling the classic story we all grew up with, showing us that we can fall in love with anyone, no matter who they are and what they look like.

2. Despicable Me 3

Gru and his minions are back, but this time as the good guys who are there to save the day from a new villain who wears shoulder pads!

3. Kingsman: The Golden Circle

Your favorite British spy team is back, but this time stateside to help catch the criminal who is behind the bombing of America’s Statesman Headquarters.


4. Cars 3

Lightning McQueen is back to show you and the new generation of racecars that he is

still the best racecar the world has seen.

5. A Dog's Purpose

Taking place over several years, this heart-wrenching

movie shows you how one dog has learned his purpose in life to help make humans

happy, laugh and love.

6. Smurfs: The Lost Village

Your favorite little blue people are back to journey through the Forbidden Forest to locate a mysterious village after realizing the evil wizard Gargamel is after themagain.

7. The Lego Batman Movie

Batman wants to save the city from Joker’s hostile takeover, but Batman soon learns that he cannot do it on his own. Do you think he’ll ask for help? See the new film when it is released to a theater near you on February 10, 2017.

Being released on Valentine’s Day, see the newest installment to the sexiest movies known to date with your best friends or maybe even your significant other. Either way, it looks like you’re in for another great movie, with an even better story line.

While fighting with soldiers during World War I, Wonder Woman discovers her true destiny and full extent of her powers after leaving the all-female island, the only place she knew as home.
