Remember the days when we wore those super comfy gaucho pants with the yellow box flip flops? Boy has style changed since then! Let's take a moment and remember our fashion trends from middle school. You may not have worn or had all of these, but I am sure you have had at least one of them.

1. Gaucho Pants

Yes, these are those rally flared out pants that felt like pajamas. If you didn't have these at some point in your life then you definitely missed out!

2. Sequin purses

Remember having one of these in every color? I do! These big sequin purses were a must to have!

3. Nike Shocks

Pretty sure your middle school crush whether it was a boy or girl had these. They came in all sorts of colors and were one of the biggest trends in the early 2000s!

4. Silly Bandz

Literally, everyone had silly bands. If you didn't buy any, you probably had gotten one from a friend. Remember when you used to trade yours for another animal or shaped one?

5. Baby Lips Lip Balm

Baby Lips Lip Balms was the number one cosmetic use from middle school girls at my school! Most definitely a must have if you are a girl!

6. Friendship Jewelry

Remember having that friendship necklace from Claire's? Or the friendship bracelet you made? These were a must have for sure!

7. Feather Trend

Nothing was cool until you went to the fair or arts festival and got that feather put in your hair. This was the most hipster trend of the middle school days for sure.

8. Any Shirt That Had A Company Name On It

Remember that Hollister shirt you wore every day to class? Oh, I do! I had them in every color, and I am sure you did too!

9. Soffe Shorts

Oh yeah! You weren't cool enough until you had a Soffe shorts that had some type of writing on the butt!

10. Butterfly Clips

Your outfit was not complete without a butterfly clip in your hair! I had about one hundred of these and wore every single one of them! I am sure you did too!

11. Yellow Box Flip Flops

Yes, I had almost every pair. These were those comfy black sole flip flops that you saw every girl and their mom wear to everything and with everything.

12. Airbrush Shirts And Hats

The best souvenir from the beach was definitely the airbrush shirt and hats! If you didn't get it as a gift, then you probably bought one at the fair or the souvenir store in your town.

Hopefully, these trends made you think of happy and somewhat embarrassing memories! Having a throwback here and there always makes it fun to remember those happy memories! Thankfully only some of those trends have come back.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
