She's the Man has been my favorite movie since the moment I first saw it. For some reason, the jokes and punchlines never get old. Before I go any further, if you haven't seen this movie, you need to ASAP. It will change your life.

Now one could ask, 'Can I really relate to a girl who dresses up like her brother to play soccer at a different school while secretly falling in love with Channing Tatum?' You betcha!

Lesson #1: People aren't always who you think they are.

Kind of ironic, considering she was pretending to be someone she wasn't, BUT that's beside the point! Moving on!

Lesson #2: ALWAYS chew like you have a secret.

*smack, smack, smack, smack*

Lesson #3: Sometimes you have to stand up for yourself.

You drop that mic, Amanda. Drop it.

Lesson #4: Flirting is difficult, but shockingly, cheese is a good conversation starter.

My favorite is Sharp Cheddar...

Lesson #5: There is someone for everyone.

Hey, asthma can be hot!

Lesson #6: Stereotypes aren't always correct.

As mentioned before, people aren't always what they seem, so be careful not to judge them too quickly.

Lesson #7: Chicks dig bald guys.

Male patterned baldness is the next big thing, people!

Lesson #8: Never forget to have fun!

Don't be afraid to let loose sometimes! Have your own little random dance party.

Lesson #9: Some people aren't always the nicest.

It's okay to recognize this and walk away.

Lesson #10: If you're going to attempt to attract the opposite sex, make sure your attempts aren't creepy.

Malcolm and Eunice are creepy, don't be like Malcolm and Eunice.

Lesson #11: You can't always ignore your emotions.

I know what you're thinking...

But showing your emotions instead of keeping them to yourself can help relieve a lot of stress, and they aren't as scary as you might think.

Lesson #12: Never ever underestimate yourself!

You might not actually be brilliant, but keep reaching for your dreams! I know I will!

The overall storyline might be a bit outlandish and highly comedic, but I think we can all take away something inspirational.

April Ludgate

Everyone who is in college right now, or has ever been, knows the struggle of pulling in the strings at the last second. It seems impossible, and you have to do a LOT of things in order to assure your future for the next semester.

April Ludgate, historically, is a very annoyed person, and she doesn't hide it. Of all the times that I binged and re-binged "Parks and Rec," her attitude relates more and more to me.

To The Cheerful Person On Their Rainy Days, You Are Valid

The world is not always sunshine and rainbows, and you do not have to be, either.

Ask friends of mine to name a quality about me, and one a lot them will point out the fact that I am almost always smiling. I like to laugh and smile -- not to quote Buddy the Elf in April, but smiling is my favorite! It is probably my favorite go-to expression. However, what a lot of people do not see is that I have my down days. I have days when smiling and laughing is a real struggle, or when I have so much on my plate that going out of my way to behappy takes more effort than I have stored in me. Be it a symptom of college and growing up or a facet of life, I cannot always be content.
