12 Things That Need To Happen On Season 12 Of Grey’s Anatomy

Season 12 is here but McDreamy isn't. Shonda needs to step up and give us these things so we can have at least some happiness in this cruel cruel world that Grey's fans are living in.

1. Cristina Yang needs to come back to Seattle.

This is a time of crisis. Meredith needs her person. Cristina needs to crawl out of the wood work and come back to help Meredith in her time of need. So they can dance it all out.

2. Meredith needs to stay single as a Pringle.

Derek and Meredith were and will forever be soulmates. There is no one else in the world for Meredith besides Derek. This is why Meredith needs to stay a sweet little single Pringle. Plus, she doesn't have time for a man! She has kids to raise and the world to change!

3. April and Jackson need to reevaluate their relationship.

Everyone knows April and Jackson are a match made in heaven. They’re a pairing that you wouldn't think would work, but somehow they do. They’ve been through so much together, so they need not give up now. It’s honestly just rude.

4. There needs to be some kind of dream sequence with McDreamy.

I know he has passed, but like wouldn’t it be nice of Meredith could dream about him or something? That might help my conscious.

5. Jackson Avery needs to be shirtless for at least a whole episode.

This isn’t much to ask.

6. Karev needs to boss around interns like McSteamy used to do to him.

Remember when McSteamy used to make Alex and the other interns get him bone chilled lattes and take his clothes to the dry cleaner? And remember how hot it was? Yeah, Alex needs to do that. We are all here for bossy Alex.

7. Meredith and Maggie need to dance it out again. And again. And again.

After season 11’s finale and Meredith and Maggie danced it out, it now needs to be an every episode staple event. Meredith is running low on people, and her and Maggie’s dynamic is something we need.

8. Bailey needs to give some life lessons to her struggling colleagues.

It’s not an opinion that Miranda Bailey is the smartest person on Grey’s and she’s got her life together, so she needs to help everyone else get their’s together too.

9. Callie and Arizona need to stop denying their true #love.

Ok, this one is just annoying! They have a baby for God’s sake!

10. Alex needs to step up as the best uncle ever for Meredith and Derek’s kids.

With Derek out of the picture, he and Meredith’s kids need a father figure. Alex has it in him to be the best uncle ever, so it shouldn’t be hard.

11. Avery’s mom needs to chill out.

Seriously! Catherine Avery, please find your chill! We can’t deal with you anymore.

12. There should be a super cross over Grey’s/Scandal/HTGAWM Shondaland supreme cross over episode.

How fun would that be? Meredith and Fitz and the Keating 5, all just chillin’.

BONUS: McDreamy should rise from his grave.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
