Circle those catalogue pages.

Christmas is fast approaching as the last days of November wind down.

When in the Christmas spirit I always recall, Scrooge style, my many Christmas pasts. I remember receiving catalogs in the mail (remember, before the glory of online shopping?) and circling potential items that I hoped to see under the tree.

So, in no particular order, here are 12 gifts we all wanted as a child (many of which I didn't actually receive):

1. The Easy Bake Oven

Never got one, but always made sure to circle it.

2. Razor Scooters

Foldable, speedy, and sophisticated.

3. American Girl Dolls

I had my sister's hand-me-down Samantha for awhile, but finally got a "lookalike" American Girl- who looked nothing like me.

4. Bratz

Come to think of it...I don't really get the appeal here.

5. Webkinz

Webkinz were the bomb, let's be real.

6. Polly Pockets

I was a big fan of Polly.

7. Groovy Girls

Groovy girls were the laid back (and more affordable) version of American Girls.

8. Nerf Blaster

Taking people out with nerf guns, what could be better?

9. Dance Dance Revolution

I used to plug that bad boy into my brothers' PS2 and dance my little heart out.

10. Nintendo DS

Anyone else pretend it was a palm pilot?

11. Bop It

I cannot estimate the amount of hours I spent attempting to be the Bop It champion.

And finally,

12. Nintendo Wii

Never had one, always asked to play at friend's houses.

College Informations

Most of us have already started the spring semester, and for those of you who haven't started yet, you suck.

It seems like coming back from winter break wouldn't really be a break all things considered, since we all come back to school and pick up right where we left off. We know exactly what to expect, yet we're unprepared every single time.

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

16 Secrets Anthropology Majors Never Admit To

You know that all of these things apply to you. You'll just never tell.

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.

music sheet

Being a music major is not all kicks and giggles. In fact, there are days when I question my sanity and doubt myself as a musician. I know I am not the only one going through the struggle, and so here are 13 GIFs that I know my fellow music majors can relate to...
