All your fall date ideas and activities to do with your friends this season:

1. Pumpkin Patch

Whether you go to get a pumpkin or just for a photoshoot, going to a pumpkin patch is always a good idea!

2. Bonfire

Get a group of your pals and enjoy sweater weather with a bonfire and some good food and drinks. You can even go around and tell ghost stories.

3. Pumpkin or Apple Cider

Enough said. Whether you make it or buy it, these fall drinks are a must. If you hate cider, there are always pumpkin spice lattes from Starbucks.

4. Pumpkin Beer

It might not sound very good, but do yourself a favor and try some pumpkin beer. It's delicious, and you can usually only get it in the fall season.

5. Pumpkin Carving/Painting

Carve a pumpkin, or save yourself a mess and decorate your pumpkins with paint, glitter or basically whatever you want.

6. Scary Movie Marathon

Whether you're cuddling with your bae or huddled with your friends, watch some scary movies this fall!

7. Football or Sports Game

Perfect weather to watch a game with a blanket and some hot chocolate (or beer).

8. Go to a haunted house

9. Go on a hike

It's perfect weather to enjoy the outdoors before it gets too cold.

10. Get lost in a corn maze

Play an ultimate game of hide n' seek with your friends.

11. Costume Shopping

Whether or not you plan on dressing up for Halloween, going to look at costumes or playing at the Halloween store is half the fun.

12. Play in the leaves

It may sound childish, but have you played in a pile of leaves lately? It's really fun, I promise.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
