Warm sun shines on my pale skin, while the small breeze pushes the smoke from the grill into the neighbor's yard. Around the table on the patio, are friends and family members laughing and telling stories of vacation plans for the upcoming weekend. Until the host of the party pulls out the grilled mouthwatering foods from the grill and places them on the table, and then the eyes focus on the food.
A part of summer that I enjoy are the grilled foods, but after a while, we get tired of continuously eating the same foods. To counteract that problem, I've composed a list of foods that are great to eat and grill.
1. Shish Kabob
Some foods taste better on a stick or a skewer. My family likes to make shish kabobs with chicken, mushroom, a slice of red and yellow bell peppers, a slice of onion. Some like to wrap bacon around the chicken and other vegetables. Some like the all veggie type of shish kabob. There's no right or wrong way of making shish kabobs.
Below I included recipes of possible shish kabob ideas.

2. Steak
Medium Rare, Medium, Medium Well, Well done are the terms typically associated with how do you want your steak. Regardless of how you want it cooked, it pairs nicely with a baked potato and a salad. Below is an attached link to spice up the typical steak:

3. Grilled Potatoes with Cheese
Move over mashed potatoes, grilled cheesy potatoes will be taking your spot on the table this summer. Wrapped in foil are cheese covered in cheese and placed on the grill. These savory potatoes pair well with the steak or any type of meat.

4. Ribs
My hands-down favorite finger food and my preference is to eat this spicy tangy food with my hands by holding it by the bone. Yet, some prefer ribs without the bone, and also taste pretty good as well.Recipe:

5. Corn on the Cob
My family peels the husk from the corn, wrap it in foil and place it on the grill for about 20 minutes or until the corn turns slightly black color. However, I've attached a recipe below how to prepare it with the husks. Either way you make it, just make sure you have the butter and salt nearbyRecipe:

7. Beer Can Chicken
1 whole chicken. 1 can of beer. 1 grill. That's the most important parts of therecipe, besides spicing the chicken with rubs. The best part is the crispiest skin.

8. Hamburgers
Store-bought patties are good, but if you're ambitious, you might want to make your own hamburger patties. Once you do, you will never go back to store-bought patties.Recipe:

The perfect appetizer or one course meal. A slice of Feta Cheese covered in sliced bell peppers and wrapped in foil and placed on the grill. The peppers cancel out the saltiness of the cheese.Recipe:
