We all know that The Food Network is the Holy Grail of all TV channels, but what are some of their best shows?

1. Any of Bobby Flay's shows.

You literally cannot go wrong with any show featuring THE Bobby Flay. Whether it's "Beat Bobby Flay," or "Brunch @ Bobby's," he will look FINE and will cook up some pretty great food.

2. The Pioneer Woman.

Ree Drummond has the most soothing voice and the fact that she "lives in the middle of no where" is just that much better. She makes food for her "hungry cowboys," so how could anything she makes be bad?

3. Ayesha's Homemade.

This is a new one and I'm going to be honest, I was a little nervous for her when I began watching, but she's the shit! Very enjoyable to watch and apparently is able to make cauliflower taste like chicken wings. Also, seeing her husband, Steph Curry, is definitely a cherry on top.

4. Cooks vs. Cons.

This show will blow your mind. That's all I've got to say, so go watch it ASAP.

5. The Kitchen.

If you call me during this show, I will not answer. It's just too good. The cooks are so hilarious. They will teach you tricks in the kitchen and make some insane food and drinks.

6. Chopped Junior.

If you tell me you don't enjoy watching children chefs compete against each other for money and a Chopped apron, you're a liar.

7. Kids Baking Championship.

Again, kids are baking. Please tell me what's better.

8. Giada at Home.

Giada might be a hoe, but you cannot deny that she makes some damn good food. From her cocktails to her apps or desserts, she will not let you down.

9. Trisha's Southern Kitchen.

She never disappoints. I wish she were my aunt.

10. Valerie's Home Cooking.

Probably tied with Trisha but I'll put her at number 10. Val has got it going on for sure. She brings the jokes to the kitchen and always brings her A game.

11. Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.

Guy Fieri is a straight savage. Also finds some dope restaurants.

12. Worst Cooks In America/Worst Bakers In America.

If you want to feel REALLY good about yourself, watch this show.

Please go watch all of these shows because really, you cannot go wrong with any of them. They're the saving grace of shows when you're too hungover to eat, if you're having trouble falling asleep at night, and especially if you're wicked bored. And while you will most likely never be able to make food like these people (with the exception of the "Worst Cooks/Bakers In America" shows), you should definitely take notes. Lastly, make sure you've got endless food at your fingertips because watching food on an empty stomach is straight torture.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
