While listening to Lea Michele's brand new album 'Places,' you feel an overpowering sense of emotional, uplifting lyrics that describe the battles one may go through. Every song is beautiful and I am so happy that Lea dug so deep into her life to bring us these memorable lyrics that will make you feel all of the feels.

  1. The first track on the album, ‘Love is Alive’ starts playing and you try and hit all of Michele’s high notes with her and fail miserably.

It is no surprise that Lea Michele starts off her new album with powerhouse vocals that make you feel the love inside of you. You try and match her long, high notes as she pours her heart out into this song. This song reminds me of Celine Dion’s older albums and I am loving it.

2. Listening to ‘Heavy Love’ makes you feel like you are watching a love story gone wrong and you are still intrigued.

It’s like watching a car crash.. Though it’s painful, you can’t turn your head. Though it may seem like an overpowering relationship, this song describes that Michele has no plans of leaving it.

3. ‘Proud’ makes me feel so proud of Lea.

“All I want to do is make you proud.” You can sing this to your parents and I guaranteed they will cry happy tears.

4. ‘Believer’ makes you feel like a survivor that carries on with life.

‘I'm still a believer, can nobody tame this raging heart… yeah, I'm still a dreamer, I'm fighting my way up to the stars.’ Once again, Lea proves she is one strong, kick ass woman with these powerful lyrics and breathtaking vocals.

5. Now, this album is based off of all the things Lea has gone through in her life to get her to this point, hence the title ‘Places.’

While listening to this emotional album, you want to investigate more about her life and just give her one big hug.

6. ‘Run to You’ starts playing and you feel like you are in a music video, battling so many obstacles just to be able to be with that certain someone.

“Just call my name on the edge of the night and I’ll run to youuuuuuuuu.” I don’t know about you but I can picture standing on a cliff, at dawn, rescuing my loved one. “Even if it’s gonna break me love, I run to you.” This line just seals the deal.

7. ‘Heavenly’ brings an uplifting, positive feeling to the mix and you start whipping your hair to each clash of the drums.

And just when you think it is over, Michele brings you back another chorus for you to belt out.

8. ‘Anything’s Possible’ has given me chills with Lea’s amazing vocals.

From every high note that Michele hits perfectly to the inspiring lyrics, everything about this song gives someone the push to move forward and be positive.

9. ‘Getaway Car’ has me in my feels.

Michele says this song reminds her of her high school years and how she drove around in a car with her first love. This song makes you feel like your first love will be your only love, which in reality isn’t likely.

10. ‘Sentimental Memories’ has me feeling nostalgic about something that has never happened to me.

Michele’s album is focused on love, relationships and moving forward. This song may be about a relationship that ended on a bad note, and I am feeling it without going through it.

11. No surprise here, ‘Tornado’ is another track filled with powerhouse vocals. But this song definitely makes you feel strong.

“Don't make no mistake, whatever comes my way, let 'em know, I live for the tornado.” Lea Michele will go through anything she has to to reach her purpose in life, which she sees “20/20, crystal clear.”

12. Currently sobbing to ‘Hey You.’

‘Hey You’ is the second part of ‘If You Say So’ which is a song on Lea Michele’s first album dedicated to her late boyfriend, Cory Monteith. While listening to this song it makes me picture Lea and Cory meeting again but then it being all a dream. From when she found his softest t-shirt they thought he lost, forgiving him for leaving and her reference to ‘If You Say So’ with the lyrics, “But before you go, you should know, I love you more, I said so” is the reason why I am an emotional wreck.

Proud is an understatement. Many people know Lea Michele from Broadway or the hit television show "Glee," but this album proves she is so much more than that. From 'Anything's Possible' and 'Run to You' to 'Hey You,' this album displays Lea for the powerhouse vocalist and inspiring artist that she is. *Currently searching for Lea Michele concerts near me.*

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
