12 Favorite Things About Fall

These are only a few reasons to explain why fall is the best season!

Fall offers many great experiences and many new changes for the year. Each fall, there is always something new to experience or something old to enjoy again. Here is a small list of the things that are favorites in fall.

1. The colors! So many different shades of oranges and yellows and reds. Just so beautiful.

2. The clothing! It's finally sweater weather so start your wardrobe rotation now and guys can start wearing jeans and sweatshirts.

3. Pumpkin everything! Pumpkins are out, pumpkin flavored foods make their reappearance, and yes, PUMPIN SPICE LATTE.

4. Halloween! The coming of pumpkins also means the coming of spooky decorations and costumes.

5. The weather! The cool, crisp air is refreshing to your soul. It even SOUNDS beautiful.

6. New TV series! Television shows usually start up in the Fall, so be prepared to become hooked on at least four new shows.

7. Snuggling! It is the perfect time of year to snuggle with a loved one or even just with blankets and pillows under your sheets.

8. CANDY CORN! Everyone's favorite Fall snack that comes out once a year. The smell of fresh candy corn is simply satisfying.

9. The leaves! The crunch of the leaves under your every step is such a beautiful noise. Jumping into leaf piles is also a very fun activity to do after working hard to gather them all up.

10. FOOTBALL! That's right, with the coming of Fall also means the coming of football. Friday Night Lights are always a favorite.

11. Autumn! Yes, just the word Autumn can bring happiness to someone. It makes everything that it is related to sound beautiful and wondrous.

12. FIRE! One of the best things about Fall is the ability to sit down next to a nice warm fire and cuddle up. The heat of the fire will warm you to the bone.

This simple list of fall favorites is just a few examples of how loved this season is. So get out there, enjoy the fall season, and find what YOUR favorites are in fall.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.
