It wasn’t always possible to photograph Queen Elizabeth II in color, but once possible, she never let us down.

1. Not many people look good in orange; in fact, after conducting my Google image search, I’ve concluded that not many do. But England’s fearless leader courageously and successfully wore a brilliant orange suit. And its not the gray hair and charming smile that made this possible -- Queen Elizabeth has been rocking orange since 1985.

2. Baseball caps, fedoras, sun hats and top hats. Over the years the queen has stretched the known hat boundaries with these alternative selections.

3. In ForneyLife, fashionista Stacy London speaks about how to make patterned clothes work. She "recommends deep-green or deep-purple floral patterns." Her Majesty did anything but that when she visited Canada in June of 2010.

4. When visiting Ireland in 2011, Queen Elizabeth looked cuter than a Leprechaun in her monochromatic hat, dress and coat combo.

5. On many more occasions, Her Majesty proved Stacy's advice incompatible with her fashion taste.

6. Contrary to all fashion advice ever, she managed to rock these shades.

7. Old fashion turns into high fashion when Queen Elizabeth II sports polka dots.

8. Carry an umbrella because raincoats look goofy? Her majesty suggests otherwise.

9. Whoever says a hoodie is too casual is wrong. They are majestic.

10. Tyra Banks advices her models to smile with their eyes. Her Majesty seems to disagree with this advice.

11. Aggressive matching: brilliantly paired suit and umbrella.

12. In May at the amalgamation parade the Queen made it clear that it is okay to wear pink when it's not Wednesday.

Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.

Now that it seems “talking” is the new way to date, and will stay that way until another idiotic term is used to describe the people who can’t settle down and just date someone, I feel as if it’s time to go over the unwritten rules of “talking.”

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.
