He's been around for about as long as you can remember and at this point in your life it is okay to admit that you love your little brother. He may have even taught you a few life lessons over the years amidst all of the fun memories, silly arguments, and crazy times.

1. Action movies are better.

Who needs Nicholas Sparks when there’s Avengers, Star Wars, and Indiana Jones? Nuff said.

2. Self defense is important.

After years of running from your brother and evading the impending beatdown (which you probably deserved), walking down a dark alley alone is no issue because you’re always prepared.

3. A real man would never hurt you.

Although little bro may have threatened, or even pushed you into a pool once or twice, he understands that women are to be respected and he’s passed that understanding on to you.

4. Sports are really cool.

When dad is too focused on the game for your questions, little brother has always got your back. Thanks to him you are pretty sure you understand the difference between the quarterback and the kicker.

5. Humor is what makes the hard parts of life bearable.

Whether you just failed a big exam or a more serious loss has taken place, brothers somehow understand how to bring a smile to your face. Their goofy puns and big heart can bring light to the darkest of times.

6. Food is meant to be eaten in large quantities.

When you’re one a date or out with friends, a salad or lighter meal is appropriate, but not when it’s brother bonding time. Every older sister knows just the place to go where she and her brother can shamelessly stuff their faces, hopefully it’s cheap though because he will never pick up the bill.

7. Someday you’ll be a better mother because of him.

Let’s just admit it, since the day he was born you have been an M.I.T. (Mother in Training). Years of tattle-tailing, making him do your chores for you, and watching out for him gave you plenty of experience in the motherhood department before you had even reached your teenage years. You've also learned when it is (and is not) a good time to bother angry toddlers.

8. He secretly appreciates you.

Despite the screaming matches, threats to never speak to one another again, and intense lightsaber battles he really does love you, whether he will admit it in front of his friends or not.

9. It’s important to cherish the little things.

Out of all of the amazing memories the two of you share, the best are the simple ones that were there and gone before you noticed.10. Life is more fun when you love yourself.

Want to wear a batman costume while pumping gas? He’ll be your Robin. Enjoy trying to talk backwards and using the Snapchat filter to see how close you were? He’s an expert. There’s just something magical about how younger brothers embrace their quirks and he has taught you so much about doing the same for yourself.

11. He will always be there for you.

Calling him as you run out the door and asking him to change your laundry, keeping the biggest secrets from your parents, or FaceTiming him at midnight from school just so you can see your dog, little brother will do it all. No matter where life takes the both of you, he will be just a phone call away.

12. Regardless of age or body stature, he will be your baby brother forever.

Looking up to him may seem odd at firs,t but in the long run it actually makes sense because you both know that you’ve been looking up to him for years anyway.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.
