Going on regular dates can get so boring, but with the fall season approaching, you have an excuse to do so many more exciting things that you wouldn't be able to do in the other seasons.

1. Get lost in a corn maze

A corn maze can be an enjoyable date on so many different levels. You can leisurely stroll through the maze until you find your way out, or some mazes make it a competition. Together, you can reach all of the checkpoints of the maze and end together, or you can make it a challenge to see who can get all checkpoints and make it out first and then the person who loses has to treat the other one to dinner.

2. Go to a football game

Football games are a great sport to watch. You could go to your hometown football game, or even theirs and cheer the team on. It gives you a perfect excuse to get out of the house, bundle up, and enjoy the company of others.

3. Pick apples and then bake them into a pie

Picking apples is a lovely activity to bond during. Then afterward, you can bake a pie. It gives you the chance to see if your partner is a good cook, or if they're willing to get in a food fight.

4. Go to your local coffee shop and order pumpkin spice lattes

Coffee dates are casual and acceptable, but just to make it a little more fall themed, you could order a PSL. They're absolutely delicious and there are so many ways to make a pumpkin spice latte to your liking.

5. Go to a farmer's market

As long as you're not like these people, I'm sure you could appreciate the time spent together. It is nice to browse all of the local and healthier options that are readily available, and you even get to see what kind of foods your significant other is into.

6. Visit a haunted house

Who doesn't love a good scare? It is even better when you have a scary time with someone who is either willing to hold you when you're scared or be held because they're too scared.

7. Cuddle by a fire

If you prefer a fireplace or a fire pit, it is easy to cuddle by both. You could spend some quality time together, enjoying the heat.

8. Pick pumpkins together

Picking pumpkins is probably the most fall thing you could do. It's the perfect time of year to do it, and there are so many uses for it. You can use the food inside of the pumpkin, carve it, or just leave it as a decoration.

9. Carve the pumpkins you picked together

Speaking of picking pumpkins, carving pumpkins can be a difficult task, but they're amusing. Everyone loves a little help picking a design and bringing it to life.

10. Admire the fall foliage while out for a picnic

Did you bake an apple pie, make caramel covered apples, or even a pumpkin pie out of the ones you got on previous dates? Now is the perfect opportunity to take it outside and enjoy a slice of pie while admiring the beautiful changing colors of the trees as the leaves fall.

11. Go for a hayride

Whether the hayride is haunted or not, I'm sure you will have a pleasant time. Yeah, the hay can get a little scratchy, and the wagon can get bumpy if you're not on a paved road, but it is easy to still have a great time together.

12. Order matching Halloween costumes and go trick or treating together

Even as an adult, trick or treating is so much fun. Who doesn't like free candy? In order to go trick or treating, you usually have to be dressed up in a costume. That's where matching costumes are important. Everyone loves a cute cliche matching Halloween costume.
