If you're anything like me, it has been kind of hard to get into the Christmas spirit this year. This weather has felt more like September weather and hello I’d like to see some snow sticking by now. The weatherman is on TV forecasting sunny and 75 while we’re all cuddled on our couches dreaming of a “White Christmas.”

There’s also that annoyance having gotten into the Christmas spirit a little early and now you just can’t get it back when you need it. It’s just a week before Christmas and I am so behind on my Christmas movie binge-watching…Having gotten so caught up in school and work, Christmas has just snuck up on me and I have a whole list of things I want to do this season.

Maybe you feel my stress and you just want to curl up on the couch, in your fuzziest socks, with a mug of hot cocoa in your hands and get into that holiday spirit!! To help you out and save you 30 minutes of wasting time picking out a movie…Here are twelve out of my many favorite Christmas movies…I can assure you there is one for every person and all occasions out there. Family time? Check! Romantic night in? I got you covered! A night alone to yourself? Got that too! Need a good cry or a greater life? Check out this list!

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
