This is why we're so crazy.

In honor of the Patriots losing on Sunday, I thought I would share what it takes to be a New England Patriots fan.

1. If you feel fine at the beginning of the game, that will surely disappear.

They just have a way of making every fan crumble with aggravation and fear every game.

2. Belichick is your fashion role model.

I mean who doesn't want a half sleeve sweatshirt?

3. If we have an advantage, we can lose it.

Once Garoppolo was down for the count, the Dolphins soon caught up.

4. We may be losing, but we can fight our way back.

No worries, we are a second half kind of team.

5. Tom Brady.

He's coming back next Sunday; he's our guy.

6. If you leave the New England region, don't tell anyone you're a Patriots fan.

Yes, take pride in it! At the same time though, people outside of our click aren't very nice to us. In fact, they hate us almost 99 percent of the time.

7. We're proud of Bill Belichick for becoming a legend.

Come on now! 13 AFC east titles, 10 conference titles, and six Super Bowls (and that's only in 15 years).

8. We're still heated about Deflate Gate.

Come at us, we aren't worried. We are stronger than your hate.

9. We're here for the love of the game.

We aren't just Patriots fans because we live in New England (that may be a reason) but we love the game and nobody does the game justice like the Patriots do. (Let's not count Sunday's game).

10. We're a great family.

Have you been to a tailgate? If you haven't you're obviously not a Patriots fan. Going to Gillette is like going to the White House.

11. We are sore losers.

We will blame everyone under the sun before we even think about admitting that the other team was good.

12. Our vocal chords are always ready.

I mean, all Pats fans scream nonsense at least 20 million times a game. (If not your posting about it on social media).

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Whether you're commuting or dorming, your first year of college is a huge adjustment. Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
