  1. NO! I am NOT ignoring you!! If I don’t answer your texts/calls/Facebook messages, I sincerely am…just that busy. I’m currently working full time and going to school full time!
  2. I DO still care! I know because those messages are going unanswered or I can’t answer your crying phone call because I’m at work…please try to understand.
  3. I’m at a pivotal point in my life! The next move will be my greatest and if I don’t jump (and by jump I mean work my a** off) now I’m not going to fly! Don’t you want that for me?
  4. I swear to God I’m not being self-absorbed. Chances are I’m literally too busy to even have any idea of what’s going on with you / check your social media because every time my phone rings I literally cringe.
  5. I am so, so, so sorry for not being there when you call. I really wish that this wasn’t where we are. I really wish I wasn’t 20 with a full-time job and school. But life brings us where we are and I know this is absolutely where I need to be. Just know that I'm sorry....
  6. Try to understand, put yourself in my shoes. I know you work…. But you don’t know what I do on a daily basis. Literally I have a routine! My life is that scheduled. From like 7am-11pm.
  7. When I can’t make it to whatever social events please realize…I work in retail. Having two days off in a row (no matter the day) is a freaking miracle! I want to be there, more than you’ll ever know. I just can’t.
  8. I miss you and I know I’m not around, ever. But I do miss you more than I’ll ever be able to put into words.
  9. If you told me something and I forgot – I have a thousand things swirling around in my head. Just remind me!!! I’ll write it down the second time, promise.
  10. If you’re upset with me for the lack of time I’ve been able to spend with you please reach out. Tell me! I’ll figure out a way to change something to be a little better with managing this time.
  11. Schedule things with me! Lots of details! With plenty of time in advance! I can probably get a day off..three months from now…or at least leave early to meet you for dinner. (Ha but seriously).
  12. I know I already live three hours away, but when I do come home and I don’t have time to see you…again understand I see my family just as little as I see you. All time with you is precious, but I only have so much to give to so many.
