In a world where the internet is used in our daily lives, I’ve realized something crazy. We’re still not using the World Wide Web to the best of our ability. We’re humans with human problems that have been solved by other humans on the internet, we just don’t take the time to search out those answers. So I’ve decided to help you! I’ve scoured the Internet (mostly after midnight) to find 11 websites that will not only help you in your time of need, but sometimes save your life or at least encourage your laziness on your off day. Whether you need help on your next presentation at work or school or you’re having trouble remembering a word in the English language, this list is sure to help you out!

1. Word Hippo

We’ve all been there. You’re in the middle of conversation or writing your college essay and you completely forget part of the English language. With Word Hippo it’s actually super easy to find the word you’re looking for. Just look for the synonym, opposite, or one of the other 20+ language devices and you’ll quickly remember what that word was.

2. Wolframalpha

Are you having trouble with your calculus homework? Need to figure out when Columbus sailed the ocean blue? What about the Bb Major scale on a saxophone? Wolframalpha literally has databases on everything from to computer science, to education and art history. It knows EVERYTHING!

3. LMGTFY

Have you ever received a text from your friend asking the stupidest questions? I mean questions that could be easily answered if they just Googled it? Well here you go! Short for “Let me Google that for you,” LMGTFY is the perfect site to help your lazy friends by googling the info the need.

4. Midomi

Do do dee dee diddly dee. What is that song!? I know like three words in the chorus, but I can’t remember anything else. Midomi is the database that helps you figure out what song you have stuck in your head, even when we all know it’s “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey.

5. Pypebites

For those of you who are content creators like I am, you may have the time where you need to transfer 5 GBs of information to a colleague who lives on the other side of the country. (It’s happened before, trust me). Pype Bites allows you to send any size file(s) up to 5GB to anyone easily.

6. Disposable Webpage

If you want your presentation to look super professional or even make a kickass birthday card over the Internet, you can make a disposable webpage for free.

7. Free Images

You’re about to miss your deadline and you need 20 images for your powerpoint. Instead of Googling those images, where you’ll have to search and search and search for the right images, just go to freeimage.com and you can download thousands of free high res stock images.

8. Safe Web Norton

It’s 2 a.m., you’re online “studying” and you find a website that you want to go on, but it’s a bit sketchy. Check the security of the site before viewing it, by using safeweb.norton.com.

9. Fiverr

Anything from proofreading your college essay to creating a Facebook cover that everyone will love, you can use Fiverr to hire freelancers for only $5. With hundreds of different tasks to be done, this will save you tons of time.

10. IFTTT

I use this ALL the time. Ifttt allows you to create “if-then” statements to better manage your life, especially as a content creator. Let’s say that you want your iPhone to text you the weather every day at 7 a.m., ifttt will do that. What if you want your twitter account to automatically retweet every tweet that has the #bacon in it, ifttt will do that too. But seriously, this thing is a lifesaver when you create 14 videos, two podcasts, two articles and manage a website – all in the same week.

11. YouTube Leanback

If you’re like me, you watch a ton of YouTube videos on a regular basis. For those that have a video game console or a smart TV, it’s really easy to navigate a ton of videos to watch in the same light of watching regular TV. But let’s say that you want to watch YouTube on your computer the same way. Leanback allows you to very easily navigate from video to video like a tv remote without putting too much effort in.

Everyone tells you that college is hard, but they fail to explain why. Sure, classes are hard. Math sucks, and political science can be so boring. But that's not even what's killing me about college. What's killing me about college is my deterioating mental health.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?

Resting b***h face. Defined as a person, usually a girl, who naturally looks mean when her face is expressionless, without meaning to. Many of you suffer from this "condition." On a level of 1-10 with 1 being chill and 10 being stressed the flip out, you could say I'm a 9. Worrying about the future, grades, GPA, work, assignments, and a lack of sleep and food will do it to ya.

While it is normal to experience stress and nervousness, the thoughts that come along with it can bring up something else.
