Whether you’re in the thicket of a busy workweek, you’ve just accomplished something big or you’re simply looking for some R&R, it’s important to pamper yourself.

Otherwise, you’ll be left feeling unmotivated and quite possibly drained.

Of course, some mani prices can be excessively high, but chances are, your neighborhood has a small local salon where you can get a fresh coat of polish for $15 or so. Or, if you’re skilled enough to polish your nails yourself, you can do it for free. Either way, you’ll be left feeling sharp and stylish.

2. Enjoy a glass of wine

Naturally, this is just the thing you need to unwind and decompress.

3. Take a break to watch an episode of your favorite binge-worthy show

It feels especially rewarding once you’ve finished all your busy work, but hey, if you feel like you’ve made progress, give yourself a quick break to find out what happens in the next episode of your favorite series.

4. Go for the dessert

Forget about the calories, and just enjoy. You deserve it.

5. Do some shopping

And I mean shopping to buy something for personal use. Whatever your heart desires, get yourself a little something that’ll make you excited.

6. Uber somewhere you’d normally walk to

If you’re heading somewhere that normally takes you at least 10-15 minutes to walk to, treat yourself to some extra free time and take an Uber to your destination (although try to save for a time when there’s no surge going on).

7. Make a list of everything you like about yourself

You might be skeptical about this one, but trust me – just like you can be your own worst enemy, you can also be your no. 1 fan, so why not give yourself a list of compliments? The longer, the better.

8. Do a face mask

My personal favorite is a mud mask, but you easily buy all kinds of masks at the drugstore, giving your skin the replenishment it needs.

9. Take a workout class instead of going to the gym

If fitness is your thing, you probably know that gym workouts can get a little boring. Instead, sign up for a workout class so you can get a change of pace from your regular routine.

10. Invest in some bath salts and soak your worries away

It’s true, baths are therapeutic, and with some soothing bath products, you can basically create a DIY spa in your own bathroom.

11. Take the time for some “me” time

Whether that means spending a night in, going for a walk or doing one of your favorite hobbies, take some time to do what you love on your own.

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. 6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.
