Depending on where you live, the weather is just about freezing and we're all dreaming about warm sun rays and blooming flowers. Another thing we're all longing for that is approaching soon is Spring Break! While some of us might have wild plans to go party in Cabo, others are opening their wallets and noticing that a plane ticket is not happening. Luckily, there are tons of other things that can make your Spring Break fun without spending the big bucks!

1. Explore cities you've never been to before in your own state.

Sometimes we forget how much there is to discover in the state we already live in! Take a little adventure with a friend or two and find some cute cities to explore.

2. Take a road trip.

Gather up a group of your closest friends and hit the road! You'd be surprised at how many things you can discover on a road trip and how much money you can save! You'll have the option of taking detours whenever you want and can stay with relatives or family friends when you want to take a break! There are also tons of cheap hostels and hotels you can spend the night at before you continue your journey. Let's not forget about all of those scenic back roads, too!

3. Go camping.

This might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it's a nice alternative to the usual Spring Break ideas. You can have a super down to earth time with your friends and a warm fire! You can pitch your tent and enjoy your time in the great outdoors roasting marshmallows and hiking.

4. Volunteer

This is probably the cheapest and most rewarding thing you could do during your Spring Break. It might not come into mind immediately when you're thinking about fun things to do, but you can meet some great people while doing something that will help contribute to the community at large!

5. Attend spring festivals/carnivals.

During this time, there's usually a bunch of art and music festivals in almost every city that have free entrance! Enjoy your time wandering around and looking at all of the cool vendors while enjoying some delicious food.

6. Go to the beach.

Instead of traveling across the country to go to a beach and party, just drive down to your local beach and catch some rays with friends.

7. Have a movie marathon.

This is an awesome thing to do with a group of friends! You guys can pick all you favorite movies and go through them one by one or plan on watching one every night!

8. Try something new.

This will definitely spark your interest and keep things exciting during Spring Break. Whether you take up origami, learn how to cook up a new recipe or learn how to blend water colors into a perfect painting, there's something fun to learn for everyone!

9. Go to a museum.

There're museums for just about everything and most of them have student discounts, so why not take advantage of that?

10. Be a tourist in your own city.

This can be super fun and entertaining, especially if you live in a big city. Take one of those tours that a typical tourist would be seen on and make the best of the experience with your best friends!

11. Relax!

Simply use this time that you have away from the real world and all of your responsibilities to just relax and get back in tune with yourself! This could be a great alternative for a lot of people and will also save tons of money!

If I have learned one thing in my lifetime, it is that friends are a privilege. No one is required to give you their company and yet there is some sort of shared connection that keeps you together. And from that friendship, you may even find yourself lucky enough to have a few more friends, thus forming a group. Here are just a few signs that prove your current friend group is the ultimate friend group.

When it comes to television, there’s very few sets of on-screen siblings that a lot of us can relate to. Only those who have grown up with siblings knows what it feels like to fight, prank, and love a sibling. Ross and Monica Geller were definitely overbearing and overshared some things through the series of "Friends," but they captured perfectly what real siblings feel in real life. Some of their antics were funny, some were a little weird but all of them are completely relatable to brothers and sisters everywhere.

1. The Legacy.

Her sister was a member, her mom was a member, all of her aunts were members, and her grandma was a member. She has been waiting her whole life to wear these letters and cried hysterically on bid day. Although she can act entitled at times, you can bet she is one of the most enthusiastic sisters.

It becomes harder and harder to focus in classes and while doing assignments as the days get closer. The winter has been lagging, the days are short and dark, and no one is quite themselves due to lack of energy and sunlight. Let's face it: life is ten times better in the summertime.
