Get back to it.

Getting back into the school regimen is probably one of the hardest things to do after a long relaxing summer. Now instead of going to bed at 3 a.m and waking up at 12 p.m, we will be getting up at 7 a.m for long classes. Ah, I can already hear the hoodies and yoga pants calling my name for an easy outfit every morning. Gone are the stress-free nights of not worrying about exams, quizzes and assignments and returned are the nights spent cramming in studying and work. It's not all bad though, many of us return to friends from college and are able to spend time with some of the people closest to us, and we will always make the best of it. Though adjusting to the return to school may take a little time, here are just a few ways to make the return just a bit easier:

1. Get a new calendar.

Organizing all of your assignments, exams and work onto a calendar always makes getting things done one hundred percent easier and faster. Dry erase calendars work the best.

2. Use sticky notes.

Anytime I really need to remember something, I write it down on a sticky note and post it where I will undoubtedly see it.

3. Start correcting your sleep schedule.

Even if you are able to stay up late, try and get to bed just a bit earlier to set your internal clock.

4. Set an outfit out the night before.

I mean most of the time, appearance isn't much of a priority for tired college students, but if you're ever having one of those "i want to look classy today" days definitely pick an outfit the night before.

5. Stay organized.

Keep one particular place for everything school related throughout the semester. This will help ensure that you won't misplace that important assignment or book.

6. Find a specific place to study.

Having only one place you plan to study in will help you get focused, and you know when you're in there that's all you are supposed to do.

7. Start drinking tea in the morning.

Drinking tea is a great way to wake up in the morning.

8. Make sure there's room on your laptop.

Delete some old no longer needed assignments off of your computer and clean up your desktop to make everything easy and accessible.

9. Keep your binders, folders and tablets neat.

Use sticky notes or organizational tabs to keep all your work dated and in order.

10. Study a few days in advance.

I know this has been said a million time sb professors, but it is so true. Instead of cramming just do a bit of studying each night and it truly does make it easier to retain and learn.

11. Don't stress.

College is meant to be some of the best years of our lives, so let's not kill ourselves with work. Go out with friends and have fun too.

Creating your schedule for the upcoming semester can be an exciting process. You have the control to decide if you want to have class two-days a week or five-days a week. You get to check things off of your requirement checklist. It's an opportunity for a fresh start with new classes (which you tell yourself you'll never skip.) This process, which always starts out so optimistic, can get frustrating really quickly. Here are 25 thoughts you have when registering for classes.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.
