Tuesday marked the halfway point of fall semester here at Bridgewater State University, and it is causing some difficulties. Midterms are keeping people up all night and stressing students out about the amount of studying they need to do. I figured since everyone is getting sick and freaking out, I'd give you all some things to make you laugh and take your mind off everything going on in your life that might be stressing you out. Everyone deserves a break.

1. Puppies. Can never go wrong with puppies.

What is more cute than puppies being rolled out of a laundry basket? This will surely calm you down and talk your mind off of all the midterms you may have.

2. Look at this cute little hamster eating mini pizza.

Come on, you have to admit, little fat animals eating little foods off of little kitchenware is absolutely adorable. Just look at that little fatty nibble on his pizza!

3. This boy from "Stranger Things".

If anyone knows me and knows how much I love the hit show "Stranger Things" they know that Gatan Matarazzo, who plays the character Dustin, is my favorite. His adorable quirkiness keeps me sane watching this show, and he's a lot like his character in real life from videos I have seen.

4. Me on Mondays.

I am not a morning person, and most certainly not a Monday person. To all who see me, beware.

5. Dog going down the stairs.

Why do dogs do this? I have never understood it. I mean, it is highly entertaining to watch them do this, but what do they gain from it? Does it get an itch they can't reach? Do they just not know how to go down stairs properly? I need to know!

6. HEY YOU GO YOU WHOO HALFWAY THROUGH THE SEMESTER!!!!

You have made it this far already, so why stop? You are doing amazing and will keep continuing to be amazing. Do not get down on yourself. This guy is giving you a thumbs up, because he knows you are going to survive and make it until winter break!

7. This baby trying to get it's spoon.

Babies are the best man because they just cannot for the life of them accomplish certain things. They just over-complicate everything because they don;t know any better, like this baby right here. But they're still super cute.

8. Two in one.

Such innocence in them running away. Their older brother just has it out to get them. But nice shot.

9. Oops.

This poor, innocent girl was just obliterated by her mother's terrible dancing. I laughed way to hard at this.

10. Babies and puppies, life complete.

Two of my favorite things in life, babies and puppies. The cute little baby and the puppy is trying so hard to see the baby, but it's just too small. So sad, but so cute.

11. Out of the box.

LOOK AT THEM COMING INTO THE WORLD. I love cats way too much but these are even better because they're KITTENS. WHOO!

I hope you have de-stressed for a moment from midterms and mid-semester chaos. Good luck in everything you need to get accomplished.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

too tired to care

We've all been there. From move-in day to the first finals week in college, your first term is an adventure from start to finish. In honor of college decisions coming out recently, I want to recap some of the most common experiences college freshmen experience.

1. The awkward hellos on move-in day.

You're moving your stuff onto your floor, and you will encounter people you don't know yet in the hallway. They live on your floor, so you'll awkwardly smile and maybe introduce yourself. As you walk away, you will wonder if they will ever speak to you again, but don't worry, there's a good chance that you will make some great friends on your floor!

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.
