Do you ever just look at people when you are on a long bus or car ride and wonder how they are sleeping like that? Well I don’t have the answers, but it is rather entertaining to see. It amazes me how people fall asleep in some positions, but hey, if you can sleep right now, go for it.

1. Sitting straight up

When you decide to rest your eyes for just a minute and end up falling asleep in that exact position.

2. Knees smashed to the seat in front

When there is not enough space for you to stretch out but you have reached the point where sitting straight up is no longer an option.

3. Feet on the seat

The next step in stretching out, but you had better hope the person in front of you doesn’t mind some feet.

4. Laying across laps

If the person next to you isn’t your friend, they are now.

5. The sprawl

When you occupy as much space as possible, sprawling all limbs in different directions with no hesitations.

6. Upside down

Because sitting normally just isn’t any fun.

7. The window lean

Head rattling against the window so you squish a jacket in between.

8. Stealing all of the seats

Whether someone was going to sit next to you or not, they missed their chance (and the next seat over from that one too).

9. The not-so-reclined recliner

When you attempt to use the “recliner” feature of the seat that only moves two inches.

10. Head leaning into the seat in front of you

When you just can’t hold your own head up anymore.

11. Curled into a ball

Do you ever really grow out of the fetal position?

However you like sleeping on a long trip, just know that someone will see you, and probably laugh.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
