If you're a student, you most likely know stress all too well. Sometimes you find ways to deal with it, and other times you let it get the best of you. If stress always seems to take advantage of you, here are a few ways to control it and conquer your work!
1. Stress ball
Recommended for you
Stress causes aggravation -- what better way to relieve that anger than with something squishy!
2. A walk or a run
Getting some fresh air is healthy for you and will help you clear out all your pestering thoughts.
3. Motivation
Make sure to remind yourself to do work for yourself and no one else. No one knows what you're capable of except you!
4. Naps
Sleep is the best way to heal your mind and body, and it's 100 percent free!
5. Asking for help
People understand that sometimes things are too much to handle on your own; asking for someone to lend a hand could save you from your stress and help you understand what you're dealing with.
6. Meditation/Yoga
From ancient times, it is known that people who practice meditation are less prone to distress.
7. Working out
Besides the puppies in this demonstration, working out is a great stress reliever. Loosen up those muscles and get the blood flowing to your brain!
8. Eat a snack
The reason why you can't seem to focus could be because you're hungry! Your brain needs food too -- it's not just your stomach that needs to eat.
9. Listen to music
Music works wonders -- sometimes it's the only thing that helps us get through each day. If you're feeling brain-blocked, put on a pair of headphones and de-stress to your favorite tunes.
10. Make a schedule
Making the time to fit your work schedule and your relaxation schedule could save you from overloading yourself. Make sure you create a list of what you need to get done and when, and also add time for yourself!
11. Go easy on yourself
Don't be hard on yourself -- think positive and do the best you can!
