Sometimes, life hits just hard enough to knock the wind out of you completely. And just when you thought everything was sorted out, that wind proceeds to mess everything up and get it out of order again. Or, you can be like me, and decide that taking life into your own hands is a much easier way to live, completely forgetting who is really in charge and how to trust Him with the simple things. And, of course, there are those days where you just need a quick reminder that you can give God anything and trust Him with it. For any of these or anything else getting you down, you can remember that God is going to be there for you through it all. Hopefully, these verses can help you like they did with me to realize that trusting God is everything to living a full and put-together life.

For the word of the Lord is right and true; he is faithful in all he does. The Lord loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love. By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth.

Isaiah 40:28-31
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.

Proverbs 28:26
Those who trust in themselves are fools, but those who walk in wisdom are kept safe.
