1. Fireworks

Fireworks are probably the most common and the most obvious choice, but as trivial as they may be they never get old.

2. Go out to eat

There are plenty of restaurants that stay open super late in celebration of New Years so find one near you and enjoy a late meal with family and friends.

3. Go to a countdown party

If you like to party then this is a sure-fire way to have a good time, find someone who knows someone who knows someone who's having a party and have the time of your life.

4. Host a party

Maybe you like smaller get-togethers and aren't into the big party scenes, sometimes the smaller parties are harder to come by, so how about throwing your own? Invite a few friends over, drop some cash on some food and play some party games, maybe Monopoly if you want to cut some people off.

5. Marathon a show

I remember when Cartoon Network hosted the "Naruto Year's Eve" Marathon back in 2005 and I sat for hours in awe. Marathoning your favorite show can make for an enjoyable and relaxing New Year's eve; you can even invite friends!

6. Reflect on the good times

It's been a rough year for a lot of people but reflecting on some of the great things that may have happened over the year can serve as a way to bring hope for the next.

7. Set some goals

Start setting goals for things you want to accomplish before the next year ends. Set smart and meaning goals.

8. Go to Church

Some AME Churches hold special first watch night services in commemoration of the Emancipation Proclamation becoming law. If you are at all religious, this may be an interesting experience

9. Date Night

What's more romantic than breaking in the new year with someone special over a candlelit dinner or some fireworks? Tell me. I'll wait.

10. Protest

I attended a protest last year and it was a wonderful experience. See if there is an organization near you planning to do one.

11. Not A Damn Thing

Just sit there and do nothing, sleep if you want, eat if you gotta, up to you..........

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

school

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.
