Long gone are the days of letter writing, AOL messenger, and telephone calls. These days, texting is more common than most forms of communication, including face-to-face interaction. But texting says just as much about you as a person, if not more. There are as many texting styles as there are types of people—and we’ve all encountered some types of texters (and people) we could live without talking to ever again. Here are some of the types of texters we’ve all had to deal with at least once in our life:

1. That person who isn’t afraid to double, triple, quadruple text

2. That person with green text bubbles

3. That person who’s always on their phone but takes two days to respond to texts

4. That person who inappropriately uses "haha" and "lol"

5. That person who feels the need to scream everything

6. That white boy who fails at sexting

7. That person who gives you anxiety with their never-ending typing bubble

8. That person who only uses emojies to communicate

9. That drunk person who can’t be saved by autocorrect

10. That person who kills the convo with a “k”

11. And perhaps the worst of them all: That person who doesn’t like texting and relies on face-to-face communication and phone calls.

So the next time you're crafting a text message, think long and hard--what kind of texter are you?

When it comes to Bloomington-Normal, there are many outstanding factors that any Illinois State student can say are unique to our college town (and maybe others too). Proud or not, we Redbirds know all the ins and outs of Blono.

1. The wait for Buffalo Wild Wings is always going to be long on Thursday nights.

As hard as we try, it's nearly impossible to resist the 69-cent wings on a college student budget. Plus, they are always delicious!
