When we all watch TV we all say “That is totally me and my best friend” or “I wish I had that in my life.” Here are just a couple that we have all said that to.

1. Meredith Grey and Cristina Yang - "Grey’s Anatomy"

It is at no surprise that these two make it on the list. Grey and Yang are two people that go through their surgery careers together until they finally split apart. While they were together we often wanted to be them or have a “person” like they had each other. They supported each other and pushed each other daily to be the best surgeon that they could be.

2. Poussey and Taystee - "Orange Is The New Black"

All though Season four of this show made us upset, it really showed us why we want a friend like these two. Taystee was Poussey’s best friend and the other way around. They often found each other talking about problems and sticking up for each other on a daily basis. At the end of Season four, we truly saw the loyalty that Taystee has for Poussey, trying to get Poussey everything she deserved after being brutally killed by a guard.

3. Jax Teller and Opie Wintson - "Sons of Anarchy"

Jax and Opie have been best friends since their fathers started “The Club”. Every day they wanted what was best for each other and their families. Fans often call Jax and Opie brothers because of the connection that they had for each other. Opie took his life to save Jax and didn’t care about the fact that he was losing his own life because he knew that it would help his brother. After Opie lost his wife, Donna, Jax made sure that Opie was getting back on track and keeping himself out of trouble (to an extent, you know?) I don’t know about you, but having a friend like Jax, to me, means having a friend that will always have my back.

4. Monica Geller and Chandler Bing -
"Friends"

Monica and Chandler never thought that they would be at where they are. Chandler was Ross Geller’s best friend and college roommate while Monica was Ross’ little sister. Throughout the show we see how these two grow together and started dating and towards the end of the show, get married. Now we all want this type of relationship. The standard “relationship goals” started out as strangers, then best friends, dating and then marriage. Chandler supports the “weird” things that Monica brings to the table. But all-in-all, they are a happy marriage.

5. Cory Matthews and Topanga Lawrence - "Boy Meets World"

Major relationship goals, am I right? Growing up we saw these two love birds start their crushes at an early age. All over social media we see Cory and Topanga as relationship goals because of how much they stuck up for each other and went through the struggles. Topanga was the one to ask Cory for his hand in marriage at their high school graduation. This is not something that normally happens which makes this couple, even more goals.

6. Phoebe and Joey - "Friends"

Okay, Lets be real here. These two make you want to say aww. When it seemed like everybody in the “friend group” was dating each other, Phoebe and Joey had each other’s back. We see every time that Phoebe stuck up for Joey around their friends and even around girls. They had that type of friendship that made you want to say, “you guys give me the feels”. When everybody else was failing to believe in Joey’s acting career, Phoebe was by his side the whole way.

7. Barney and Robin - "How I Met Your Mother"

Barney and Robin are those two people in your friend group that you just want to smack across the head and say “Get your life together and just date” and then when they start dating you just want to rip your hair out because they don’t even see what is right in front of them. No matter how many people they were with it always came back to Barney and Robin.

8. Nick and Jess - "New Girl"

Nick and Jess are the type of friend where you would go to the end of the Earth to help even though you just met them a couple of months ago. We see this when Nick sticks up for Jess in (almost) everything that she does and tells her that everything is going to be okay. Jess always wants to have the best for Nick even if it was in the “dating world”. Although Nick did admit to having a crush on Jess, that never stopped the way that he looked at her and wanted to help her.

9. Cory Matthews and Shawn Hunter - "Boy Meets World"

Cory and Shawn got in trouble like it was nothing. But they always had each other’s back. They went through life together and no matter what, they cared about each other. When they went to high school and started dating, they never let the girl get in the way. Although, it did happen sometimes, they always made sure that they knew it was always Cory and Shawn. We all have that one person in our lives that no matter what, it will always be them.

10. Aria, Spencer, Hannah and Emily - "Pretty Little Liars"

Let’s be real for a second here. These four girls have been through hell and a hand basket together. At the end of the day, they will stick up for each other and show each other what the true meaning of friendship is. When one goes missing or one has a problem, they all pitch in to see how they can help. No one left behind.

11. Derek Morgan and Penelope Garcia - "Criminal Minds"

I speak for every girl out there when I say, I wish that someone would talk to me the way Morgan talks to Garcia. Every time you hear the words “baby girl” you know something good was about to happen. Morgan was the type of person that would take a bullet for Garcia and not even think twice about it. When Morgan got kidnapped, Garcia was at the front line, wanting to help and figure out what she could do to help. These two meant the world to each other.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

winter

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
