Having an older brother can be the best and the worst thing ever. He can tease and taunt you, but he's there for you when no one else can be. My brother and I are literally Ross and Monica, although he hates it when I call him Ross. Here are some truths about having an older brother.

1. You know how weird your brother is, because you're the same kind of weird.

What can you say, your parents did the same things to the both of you.

2. You can fight like crazy.

Until mom breaks it up.

3. But, you also play around like no one understands.

Mario Kart can get deadly, though.

4. You have the same sense of humor, so you both think you're the funniest people in the world.

5. You have the most fun together, because you've had to play with each other your entire lives.

No one can remember every dance routine you performed or recital song you sang like a brother out to embarrass you.

6. You have inside jokes that other people will just never understand.

One time I made a deal with my brother that I would pop the popcorn for the rest of our lives if I could stay in his room for one night. I'm still the one who pops the popcorn. No one gets why it's funny.

7. He supports you in everything you do, and you support him the same way.

No one is more proud than a big brother.

8. Sometimes your friends like him. It's always weird.

But, you also might try to set him up with your friends because you can trust them.

9. You have to approve of each other's partners.

God forbid one of you doesn't like who the other is dating. Luckily, my brother's current girlfriend is THE BEST.

10. He can be so irritating, like when he interrupts you a thousand times.

He isn't always right, but he doesn't know that.

11. But no matter what, you will always be there for each other.

I love you, Max!

5 Untold Struggles Of The Short Friend

I'm the Short Friend. I've been the Short Friend since about the seventh grade. I'm the one who stands in the front of the photos, gets made fun of for their height, and still shops in the kids department.

This article is not for the Almost Short Friends, i.e. the 5'3" and 5'4" Friends. No no, this is for the Actually Short Friends, i.e. the Barely Scraping 5'1" and shorter Short Friends.

This semester I started my journey as a member of my University's Alumni Outreach Team. This means a lot of things, but primarily it means that I get to make phone calls to parents and alumni two nights a week to update contact information, collect things like business cards and volunteer hours, and even ask for money.
