Other than little kids, the demographic that gets the most excited by Halloween is definitely college students! Halloween in college is usually a 3 or 4-day event full of theme parties, spooky Instagram posts and obviously multiple costume changes!

Halloween is such a popular holiday for college kids because it allows us the chance to leave behind the real-life stress of jobs, exams, and deadlines for a night and return to the carefree days where our only concerns were how many candy bars we could stuff in our pillowcases!

So this Halloween, grab your boo or your BFF and re-live the music, movies, and celebrity couplings of your childhood by dressing up as any of these instantly recognizable 90s pairs!

1. Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake

While sadly Britney and Justin didn't debut this iconic matching denim-tuxedo getup until 2001, the prince and princess of pop were the celeb couple every 90s teenager was obsessed with!

2. Courtney Love and Kurt Cobain

If your music taste was much more Nirvana than *NSYNC in 1992, than you may be interested in going out as one of the most volatile, well-known couples from the era of grunge.

3. Winona Ryder and Johnny Depp

Even though Johnny eventually ended up covering up his infamous tattoo, those of us who remember this A-list 90s pair are still holding out hope for a reunion: "Winona Forever!"

4. Buffy and Angel ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer")

Way before "Twilight," Buffy and Angel were the original star-crossed, brooding vampire/human love story. To make this costume work all you need is a pair of fangs, a wooden stake, and lots and lots of leather.

5. Mulder and Scully ("The X-Files")

Hunt down some aliens this Halloween by dressing as our favorite pair of quippy FBI investigators.

6. Rose and Jack ("Titanic")

Rose may not have kept her promise, but we'll never let go of their tragic love story.

7. Marla Singer and Tyler Durden ("Fight Club")

Although by now we're all familiar with the "first rule of Fight Club," pay tribute to the 90s anti-establishment attitude by rocking a slip dress and red leather jacket à la Tyler and Marla.

8. Harley Quinn and The Joker ("Batman: the Animated Series")

Long before Margot Robbie's short-shorts and blue and red pigtails became the go-to Halloween look for every college girl, Harley Quinn and the Joker were already making a name for themselves as the Clown Couple of Crime on the classic 90s cartoon "Batman: The Animated Series."

9. Cher and Dionne ("Clueless")

With their plaid skirts, giant cellphones and bomb headwear, Cher and Dionne were the most fashionable besties in all of Beverley Hills High. Is it any wonder they became friends because, to quote Cher: "We both know what it's like for people to be jealous of us."

10. Daria and Jane ("Daria")

While Daria and Jane probably would have thought they were "too cool" to dress up for Halloween, it doesn't mean you have to be!

11. Wayne and Garth ("Wayne's World")

Get your party on this Halloween and live in the now by head-banging alongside your best bud as the SNL classic duo: Wayne and Garth from "Wayne's World."

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
