Yes, anything.

We all want to succeed in life. There are a few things that we're even biologically wired to be successful in (for example: staying alive). Sometimes, though, it can be hard to keep the goal in sight. I believe that success is defined on a case-by-case basis, but these 11 tips can be applied to just about any life path.

1. Speak It to Manifest It

No, I'm not talking about saying, "I'm a millionaire," and suddenly your bank account skyrockets. I'm talking about every day waking up, looking in the mirror and telling yourself, "I am a millionaire," and then going out and doing something to bring yourself one step closer to your truth.

2. Dress for Success

Whether your ideal of success is being the CEO of an international bank or being the owner of a cute little coffee shop, making yourself look and feel like you're already there will help motivate you to keep moving forward.

3. Commit Yourself to a Planner

The first time you decide to write down your schedule can be daunting; it's often one of the hardest habits to acquire when we reach adulthood. However, writing out your monthly, weekly, and even daily schedule can be extremely beneficial.

4. Wake Up at the Same Time Every Day

Yes, even on weekends. Keeping a constant sleep routine is much better for the body and the mind. While you don't necessarily have to do things on your off mornings, you may find a serious enjoyment in sitting on your porch with a fresh cup of coffee.

5. Don't Beat Yourself Up When You Stumble

Yes, you will stumble. All of us do, no matter how long we've been working toward our goals. The important thing is to not let one mistake cause you to make more. Don't let yourself snowball out of control--instead, take a deep breath, and move on.

6. Make Your Bed Every Morning

This one seems irrelevant, doesn't it? Well it's not. Forcing yourself to keep habits like making your bed is good practice for the habits you need to be successful. Also, you're likely to sleep better if your bed is made.

7. Go Out of Your Way to Give

It doesn't have to be a big deal. Give your neighbor a wave hello tomorrow morning, or give your dog an extra warm welcome when you come home. It's the little things in life that mean the most.

8. Take Care of Yourself

While it's important to give to others, you have to make sure you give to yourself, too. After all, you cannot pour from an empty cup.

9. Keep a Physical Reminder of Your Goals

Much like the daily planner I mentioned earlier, a physical reminder of your goals can make it harder for you to talk yourself out of them. Personally, I have a bulletin board dedicated to the things I wish to achieve academically that I keep above my desk in my room.

10. Take Advice

Okay, maybe not from cookies, but imagine this: You have the opportunity to sit down and have tea with someone who has everything you want in life. What do you do? Ask them how they got there, and take notes.

11. Never Give Up

Of all the cheesy, cliche advice in this article, this tip is probably the cheesiest, but it can't be left out. No matter what, perserverence and determination are the two most important characteristics of a success story.

Now that you are armed with these tips, go out and be successful at whatever it is you want in life. See you in the winner's circle, friend.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

You're away from home and your mom who can take care of you and all you really want to do is just be in your own bed. Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
