If you watched SpongeBob as a kid or an adult (no judgment because me too), you know that that yellow, little man is nothing if not uncomfortably dedicated to his job as a fry cook, so if any cartoon sea creature could help you score an awesome job and not screw it up, it would be SpongeBob SquarePants. So drop on the deck, flop like a fish, and let the guy who has kept his job for almost twenty years, through countless amounts of nautical nonsense, teach you how to go from Pineapple to Krusty Krab, no matter your age (seriously, how old is he?).

1. Be positive.

2. Dress sharply.

3. Know everything there is to know about the company.

4. Never lose your name tag.

5. Have fantastic customer service.

6. Help your boss bury a body.

7. Make a connection with your co-workers.

8. Be persistent.

9. Use appropriate language.

10. Stay late if necessary.
