There are many fans of the popular BBC show Doctor Who, but for those of you who are unfamiliar with the good Doctor: Doctor Who is about a time traveling alien called The Doctor. A Time Lord hailing from the planet of Gallifrey, he travels through time and space with his companions in his TARDIS.

A TARDIS is a fantastic device! It's name is an acronym, which stands for Time And Relative Dimension In Space. Brilliant, right? Needless to say it would come in very hand from time to time! So here are 11 times we all wish we could borrow the Doctor’s TARDIS. Geronimo!

1. Boredom

Tired of the old hum-drum? Go on an adventure in 1654 or the year 18,439. Stay on earth or go explore planets and galaxies far, far away! It's impossible to be bored when you've got a TARDIS.

2. Moving

Did I mention it’s bigger on the inside? Much, much bigger! No more worrying about fitting everything you own into a single vehicle ever again. Take your entire house, every earthly belonging you have... There will be room to spare!

3. Procrastinating

It’s a time machine. Do you know what that means?! The ability to avoid your homework for a solid two weeks (or longer!) and still get back in time to get it finished.

4. “To Do” Lists

Finished with one project? Jump back to when you started and start another one! Then all your chores get done at the same time and you can relax.

5. Running Late

Sleep through your alarm? Again? No worries! Just climb in the TARDIS and get dropped off exactly where you need to be and at exactly the right time.

6. Vacation

Let’s face it: it’s hard to get time off to go places! And when you do, by the time you get back you need a vacation to recuperate from your vacation. But no more! You could spend a week in the vacation destination of your choice and be home in time to enjoy a weekend in.

7. Long distance relationships

Whether they’re platonic or romantic, it’s hard when hundreds of miles of land and sea separate you from people you care about. Now you can be half way across the world five minutes ago!

8. Historical Research

We’ve all had those papers on topics we knew next to nothing about. Now you can go back and experience those events hands on and write an amazing paper about it. Just make sure to cite your sources.

9. Making the Perfect Escape

If you’ve ever been in a social situation—or any kind of situation really—that just made you cringe, you’ll understand how important a timely escape can be. With a TARDIS avoiding embarrassing or uncomfortable situations would be a snap.

10. Double Booked

They say you can’t be in two places at the same time, but with a TARDIS that little adage can be tossed out the window. Now you can avoid cancelling plans because you forgot you volunteered to watch your neighbor’s cat. Simply do both!

11. Spontaneous Adventure

You never know when the Doctor could show up to whisk you away. And more importantly you don’t always know where—or when – the TARDIS is going to whisk you away to. But there's one thing I can promise: it will be an adventure!

I guess the only question left to ask is:

Allons-y!

The first two weeks of classes have come to an end and they have been anything BUT easy. It seems like life has been serving up more bad than good and in all honesty, the only thing you want to do is crawl under your covers and hide from the rest of the world.

Although this seems like the best solution, it is also the easy way out. Take it from the girl who took basically a whole week off from her life because she just could not handle everything that was being thrown at her. This caused her to feel extremely lonely and even more stressed out for being behind in classes that JUST began.

"What's more important? What we become or how we become it?"

Brooke Davis

"She was fiercely independent, Brooke Davis. Brilliant, and beautiful, and brave. In two years she had grown more than anyone I had ever known. Brooke Davis is going to change the world someday, and I'm not sure she even knows it." - Lucas Scott, An Unkindness of Ravens

Brooke Davis of the hit show One Tree Hill was the it girl - she had it all, or so we thought. She started out as a stuck-up, shallow, spoiled, head cheerleader who didn't have her life together. She slept around a lot and loved to party - sounds like your typical high school teenager right? Wrong. B. Davis had so much more to offer. Caring, loyal, and outspoken, she has taught us some valuable lessons throughout the 9 seasons that OTH was on the air:

We all have a person, and when that person makes some new friends, we tend to forget all the great things that can come out of it. Never forget how special they are to you and why you are best friends.
