Remember "House?" The show that had many of us were hooked on and obsessed with for eight seasons? How could you forget the cane-wielding, rude, arrogant, and Vicodin-addicted doctor? That's the thing, you can't!

Throughout the series, Dr. House demonstrated his lack of care for rules and social norms. However, he also said many quotable bits that showed his understanding and deep-rooted sense of humanity, and because of that he was both real and relatable to many of us. Here are some of my favorites.

1. "Do you know how many times I wanted to just give up?"

Life is hard, sometimes. We all want to give up at times. That doesn't mean we should or that we can't reach our goals.

2. "I value your opinion. I value rejecting your opinion."

Isn't that how we argue?

3. "'Cause I'm the most screwed up person in the world."

We may feel this way during rough patches, but everyone has their own struggles.

4. "You don't need to depend on people who are gonna let you down."

Preach, Greg!

5. "People's brains stop working when they think they're gonna lose someone they love."

Truth.

6. "I like being alone. At least, I convince myself that I'm better off that way."

Introverts unite! On your own time and in your room by yourself, though.

7. "I cared for eight seconds, then I got distracted."

LOL, same.

8. "I'm fine, I'm just not happy."

Sometimes, this is how we want to respond to a simple "how are you?"

9. "Things change, doesn't mean they get better."

A little pessimistic, but change is change. Hope for the best, but prepare for all possible outcomes.

10. "I'm sorry I pushed you away. It's what I do when I'm afraid."

Feelings can be hard sometimes, even for House.

11. "Oh, God, stop. I'm in a pool of tears here."

Nothing like a touch of sarcasm.

Catch me binge-watching the entire series on Netflix... again, weekdays, at all times.

Epic Creation Myths: Norse Origins Unveiled

What happened in the beginning, and how the heavens were set in motion.

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.

8tracks radio

We all scroll through the radio stations in the car every once in a while, whether its because we lost signal to our favorite one or we are just bored with the same ol' songs every day. You know when you're going through and you hear a song where you're just like "I forgot this existed!" and before you know it, you're singing every word? Yeah, me too. Like, 95% of the time. If you're like me and LOVE some good throwback music, here's a list of songs from every genre that have gotten lost in time, but never truly forgotten.

beer on the beach

Summer is hot and humid, and it's almost like summer was made specifically to drink the refreshing, cold, crisp wonderful, delicious, nutritious nectar of the gods. Which is none other than beer; wonderful cold beer. With summer playing peek-a-boo around the corner while we finish up this semester, it's time to discuss the only important part of summer. And if you haven't already guessed, it's beer. There are few things I take more seriously than my beer, in order are: sports... and beer. Here are my favorite summer brews:
