Halloween is going to come quicker then you think, and kids aren't the only ones who should be allowed to enjoy the holiday! Here are some Halloween tips for adults this year!
1. Embrace your inner child. Go Trick-or-Treating!
Yes, Halloween is a fun day for children to get candy. But why can't us college students and adults join in on the fun? Go get your candy!
2. Eat as much candy as you'd like.
Now, you've gotten your candy! Enjoy it! You are an adult now! You control how much candy you can eat! Live it up!
3. Nap.
Okay, now you've eaten too much candy. Its time for a food coma. You deserve it.
4. Watch a scary movie.
What is Halloween without getting your pants scared off? It's always nice to experience thrill or suspense. That's the whole spirit of the holiday!
5. Watch a funny movie.
I know what you're thinking, and I do not blame you. I can't handle the scarier movies, either. Take a load off and pop in a Halloween or horror movie. I hope it won't scare you too much.
6. Eat or Drink something pumpkin.
Embrace your basic inner self. Drink a pumpkin spice latte Eat a pumpkin donut. 'Tis the season to treat yourself.
7. Make new friends.
Halloween is a great time to show off your interests. Whether you're Superman or Spongebob, someone out there might be wearing the same costume as you!
8. Throw a Costume party.
There is never a wrong reason to party. This is the day of spooks. What better way to end the end than dancing with a group of friends and eating too much candy?
9. Carve a pumpkin.
Be careful with this one. The tools used to carve pumpkins are pretty sharp. Now that you've acknowledged safety, crack that baby open and carve something pretty!
10. Have some fun!
Halloween comes once a year! The semester is almost over and you're one day closer to the true best day of the year! (But I can't talk about that until after Thanksgiving).
11. Remember, Halloween falls on a Monday this year. Don't get TOO crazy.
Trick or Treating and then an 8:30 a.m. class Not the best combination. Bring some candy with you to class. No need to share. You worked hard for that candy.
