After months of anticipation, years if you're a die-hard fan, and a cycle of about 73 different titles, Kanye West's new album "The Life of Pablo" finally came out on on February 14th. Happy Valentine's Day, people.

As is the case with many long-awaited creations from our favorite artists, there are a number of thoughts that run through our minds as we form opinions and judgments from the first impression.

Wait, what's it called?

From "So Help Me God" to "SWISH" to "Waves," Kanye kept fans guessing the name of his album with his ever-changing mind.

O.K., T.L.O.P.

Wait, we're supposed to guess? True Love Opens Places. Tan Legs Over Power. Turn Left Opposite Pieces. Tank Leaf Original Poster. O.K., we give up.

I cannot wait to hear "ONE of the greatest albums ever."

Kanye himself proclaimed his new album to be one of the best to grace rap music. The question is, will it live up to our expectations?

Dear God, can we please just get to the good stuff?

Kanye kept suspense high mixing old favorites with new tracks at a live show in Madison Square Garden on the 11th debuting the third season of his fashion line and his new album.

At least he's honest.

From his display of certain similarities between himself and Ray J to his forward comments about Taylor Swift, Kanye includes many borderline-offensive phrases in his album. But hey, most of it's just what everyone else won't say.

What a collection of impressive humans.

Chance the Rapper. Kirk Franklin. Kid Cudi. Desiigner. Rihanna. Young Thug. Chris Brown. The Weekend. Ty Dolla $ign. Frank Ocean. Caroline Shaw. Max B. Andre 3000. Kendrick Lamar. Post Malone. Need I say more?

God bless Chance the Rapper.

Kanye wanted to cut the track "Waves" from the album, but Chance the Rapper fought to keep the song. The dispute pushed the release date back, but we sure are glad. One word summary: fire.

To the friend who tells you that you care too much.

No.

Kanye West has a great sense of humor.

*People say Kanye is an egotistical jerk.* *Kanye writes song about Kanye and what people think about Kanye." And yes, the whole song is sung in the third person.

But he also gets pretty deep.

"Name one genius that ain't crazy." "I will die for those I love." "Even when somebody go away, the feelings don't really go away." Preach, Kanye. Preach.

That was hype.

"The Life of Pablo" has our stamp of approval.

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.
